I know how gamesharing works dude, I just asked because I know that sometimes some games are not shareable. Like Warhawk wasn't shareable once. So I was just asking to see if Jeopardy is shareable since it is 15 bucks rather then the usual 10 for psn games.

For those of you having problems with certain games after patching saying that they are registered to the shared account, and forcing you into the demo. Delete the game's saved folder in your main profile that you're wanting to play on, copy a saved file for that game from the shared account and put it in your main profile. The game should be fine now. I was having problems with Rocketman and SSHD, but that seemed to fix it.

Best thing to do is to delete your CC info after you make the purchase, then give out your userid/pw for the users involved in your GS party. If you need to make another purchase with the same group later on, change the PW, make the purchase again, delete CC info, pass out new PW to the users.

For long-term groups, there still is just one host and you can either pay via paypal, or PSN cards. I have some hope. The people who are going to share it are probably people who still won't buy it at $30, so making it shareable is significantly better than having the same people either never buy it or buy it used. Still not going to try unless it's confirmed by a reliable source.

From what I've seen listed on the store, it isn't clear. Just checked the store from my PSP. Wipeout clearly seems sharable "One time fee for downloads to up to five PS3 systems that associated with the purchasing account."

Burnout's entry doesn't seem to say anything either way but neither does Mega Man. Strange, although I haven't looked at these a lot. Somebody who knows what they are doing better check too.

That's not really true, that just means that you had an open activation slot. With Warhawk/GT5 it doesn't show up as problematic until you both try to play the game within 24 hours of each other.

I don't know who leeched all the activations and downloads from me, but Gamehead, Cheapass24, and nativetongue88 were the three who had access. One of them is lying about not giving out the login info.

It's a shame it doesn't keep track of this stuff in your user account. - At least to show when things were downloaded, even if it was re-downloads.

I'm willing to eat a little of the cost if one of you doesn't need both as long as I know that you're into other games going forward or that you may return the favor down the road. Quick question; by deleting the account off the PSN, does that just mean logging onto a new account on that particular User, or deleting it off of the PS3?

I have 2 Users on there, 1 with the previous owner's PSN; I don't have the pass, so I haven't logged onto it, but would I be able to use that one for logging on separate accounts for gamesharing?

Warmest greetings to all. I'm new here. Joined up specifically because of this thread. I understand the delicacy of account issues, so I understand any reluctance in advance, but I'd like to reassure you all with who I am elsewhere:

TeamXbox - ajreynol (http://forum.teamxbox.com/member.php?u=71452). Member for 3 years with over ~28k posts.

and if you peruse those sites, you'll find I'm of quite high reputation.

I gameshare with people at both TXB and GS, but it's never very fluid or fast (neither site allows for threads on the subject). I get the feeling the nature of this site will cater to a more expedited manner. So I'm game for the CAG approach!

I realise that I am new here and I understand the question marks that hang over new members in regards to account sharing, so I would like to 100% assure you that I am an honest person. At the end of the day, I'm not going to mess around with anyone elses account when mine is also on the line. I would hope that you trust me, but I understand if you do not.

Bronson, I don't think the account on the PS3 matters too much, but I guess you'd need a seperate to tie to the PSN account. If say you deleted our groups gameshare account off your system I don't think you'd have access to the games anymore.

That's what I figured, so that's what I did.

For sharing different games you'd probably have to have different accounts for each game so they're separate, and they can't download the others, but what you're saying does ring true.

Activations are account based. So for example, if you had Megaman and Wipeout on one account, you cannot share Megaman with 5 people and Wipeout with a different 5 people. If you want to do this, make a separate account for each game.

Your account can be shared with 5 people

You can have all the DLC on that account, ONLY share with 4 other members. Once that account has reached the max, no else can download games that are on that PSN accout.
