I checked the ESRB this morning to investigate what new games may be appearing on PSN sometime (it reveals some interesting things). I noticed there seem to to be more games added than what I remember seeing added on the front page, so I scrolled back a few pages to see if any multi-platform stuff is coming to PS3 (usually, when a multi-platform game comes to another platform way earlier, the ESRB usually places it in the slot from when the game was originally reviewed on its previous platform). I saw Assault Heroes listed, and I really don't remember seeing it before. I checked the site and it doesn't show a PS3 logo yet.

Still, interesting news since I enjoyed the game (I'd love for it to still have online co-op). We'll see if this happens, but this might be another leak by the ESRB.org (but this game could come anytime). Now I wonder if all of Sierra's XBLA games will come to PSN also one day.

This is on page 176 - 200 on the ESRB.org, in case anyone is wondering.

I just got it on 360 and have only played the first level, but I think it's great so far. I'll jump on just about any top-down co-op shooter. Assault Heroes 2 was also announced recently:

Yeah I have this on the 360.. fun game :)
Not sure if I would re-buy for Ps3 unless they added a bunch of stuff or something.

Mana, if you don't mind my asking, where was that screenshot taken with the list of games that will/may be coming to PSN? I'd love the link if you don't mind.

At the ESRB site.

Anyway, it's move to the PSN, if it does move at all, may be the start of a trend. MS recently changed their agreement on Live Arcade games where instead of them taking about only 30% of profits from a Live Arcade game, they now take about 65%-70%. This could cause people to move to the PSN in response.

The rumor is an Assault Heroes sequel is exclusive to 360. I do think we'll see more games in the future come to both PSN/XBLA.
