I think it is an interesting read. I knew nothing about this beforehand.

I'm so worn down by all the utterly reprehensible things we've done in the last eight years I can't even muster up outrage, reading the link.

Good wiki entry, though. Thanks, Guile.

Speaking of extraordinary rendition, how about Orgy's remake of "Blue Monday" from the last century?

This. It's such a pitiful thing to say "I'm exhausted from being outraged," particularly given what's involved...but I am.

After watching "No Reservations" last night, I think I'll move to Indonesia.

EDIT: If it makes you feel any better, some folks and I did try to pick a fight with Orgy at a club around 9 year ago or so when that song was popular. That was the reason, too. ;)

I can't imagine how you would have lost. Yeah, rendition is another reason why Americans backpack in Europe with a Canadian flag on their backs.

Well, the velvet rope wasn't powerful, but the bouncers were. We didn't actually get physical with them, but decided to talk a lot of shit. Just like the previous time when we got in the faces of The Offspring, the bouncers sent us out the door with a heartfelt "sorry guys - they tip better than you can."

Which was quite true.
