We already have two other threads designated for guide discussion -

In this thread, each CAG has one post slot. You maintain your list and that is it. If you want to delete your 1 post and repost your list again to get more recent exposure, that is fine (keep the frequency reasonable).
Mods can easily maintain this list by clicking on the post count and seeing if anyone has more than 1 post count (I'll have 2 ;) ) and deleting the others. Hopefully we won't have to do this.

This new format should keep things nice and tidy around here. It will make finding your wants much easier, which is the purpose of a thread like this anyway, right?

If you decide to save your spot, one tip would be to timestamp your updates at the top of your posts. Makes it easier to skip old posts once this grows.



One last note - all Haves and Wants are restricted to the topic at hand. For example, don't list a few guides as a Want then list off a bunch of Atari games in your Haves. 'CML' and 'Paypal' are exceptions to this rule.

First some ground rules on shipping. I ship media mail w/ a delivery confirmation # and follow my own guidelines.

1. You must also provide a delivery confirmation/tracking number of some sort.
2. If using a padded envelope, include a cardboard insert and write "Do Not Bend" on the outside of the envelope. My mailman takes it as a personal challenge as to how many packages he can bend/cram into my mailbox.

Pennied Guides: I AM NOT a penny guide hunter like most guide traders. Nearly all of these guides are from my collection. A pawn shop around here gets multiple copies certain guides and never explains how. I'm 99% sure the guy there buys up all the penny guides around here so no point in me searching. Anyway, he sells them to me for cheap so it's not all bad.

Condition: Condition matters VERY MUCH to me. I list the general condition but I will note major flaws when we talk about a potential trade. I'm selling off almost all of the guides I had for trade. They are all in great condition (on a scale of 1-10, I'd rate the majority at 9-9.5, with only 1 or 2 being at lower than an 8). Rather than throwing them out, trying to pawn them off on ebay, or turning them into confetti, I have decided to do mystery packages. I have packaged up all of the guides into boxes of different sizes. In order to make things random, I had my wife divy up the guides into the different boxes, making sure none of the boxes have duplicates. I can tell you every box has guides for various systems (systems may include PS2, PS3, Xbox, X360, GC, Wii, DS, PSP, PC). There are no system specific boxes (ie- no box has just PS2 guides). There are NOT any uber rare guides, but they are not all shit guides either (I know there's some Jak 3, Ninja Gaiden Sigma, Super Paper Mario, just to name a few). Everything will be shipped media mail. I will split up the boxes by weight. First person to pay me for a box, gets it.
