Welcome to Thursday! More affectionately known (to me) as book store coupon day. Woo! After, I believe, more than a month's absence, Barnes and Noble return this week with the Borders usual: 25-percent off one item (http://www.barnesandnoble.com/email/nav.asp?r=1&PID=21905).

Considering Borders weekly 25-percent off coupons, and their 20-percent off coupon upon buying anything, I won't be renewing my Barnes and Noble membership.

Looking at the fine print...I'm not sure. Do you have to be a member to use this coupon?

Yes you do. Costs $25/yr.

meh. Not worth becoming a member to use this coupon. Even if I do use more than 1.

Many of us became B&N members last year when they were giving you 50% off any item after you signed up. I got my coupon in the mail the other day, but not sure if I'm going to use it or not.

You get a 10% coupon if you're not a member - http://www.barnesandnoble.com/email/nav.asp?r=1&PID=21906

Prices are almost always cheaper on Amazon anyway.

True. But I prefer buying things in store over online. Especially with Amazon. There customer service treated me like crap in the past when I ordered some GTO box sets off of them and only ended up getting 1 of the 2. Never got my $40 refunded, even after countless complaints filed to them.

Can you stack coupons at all?
