Last week I spoke with a Netflix customer service rep about buying used HD-DVD from their site. She informed me that they will not offer them for sale on their website , but instead will sell their entire HD-DVD catalog come June to one or to several 3rd party vendors that normally do business on Amazon.com (my guess is one of the webstores).

So my question is does anyone know the names of the webstores that Netflix would use to sell their used merchandise?

I think it will be helpful to know as us CAGers are always looking for a deal.

(Note: Sorry if this is posted in the wrong place. I just wasn't sure, but figure this would be best. Please redirect it, if necessary.)

I was wondering the same thing but as a member, I've received both hd dvd and regular dvd's from them and someimes I would get stuff that was scratched to hell. Most would work but some wouldn't work on any of my players. I'd be a little leary about buying from them especially if it was a popular title that's been rented alot of times. I guess if they have good quality control it should be o.k. but still something to keep in mind.

Almost every HD DVD I recieved was scratched as hell and wouldn't work without skipping or some glitches. Some I had to use in my Xbox player because the A3 would not play them due to them being so fucked up.

I wouldn't bank on getting Netflix movies.
