I hope none of my MCR's are rejected. What I like about TRAINN is that whenever I placed an MCR it was guaranteed to eventually credit. With MegaFreebie you basically either get it or not, not sure what they base it on but I find it really dumb.

Got one Dual Shock 3 delivered to me today. Checked the apartment office and the other one I ordered was sitting there. Never got a door hanger on that one though, nuts.

Weird though, one was delivered by UPS the other DHL. Both ordered from Amazon. I had no idea Amazon would ship with DHL. Anyways, I put an order in for one on 03/31, the other 04/06.

Just to contrast, I got a "your game has been sent" e-mail from Trainn on 03/31. Still haven't seen that one.


Update: Just ran the DHL tracking number, turns out that one arrived on 04/04. So 4-5 days for that one, and 3 freaking days for the other one.

Ok so I was charged 2 times by GGW, so thats a total of $40. I also received 4 DVD's in total. Now my question is as follows. I used a paypal VCC. I closed the card though. Now I want to return the DVD's but how would I get my money back if the cards are closed?

From what i've read up to 1 month. There has been 2 MCR's i got approved same day and i am only waiting on 1 MCR that will probably take a while.

Most MCRs will be approved within 1 day. I noticed it's rare for it to take longer.

Brawl arrived today. Ordered Monday at 11pm. Did 2 more offers for a MGS4 preorder. Next up is the Dual Shock 3 methinks.

I completed 2 offers yesterday morning, submitted MCR's yesterday afternoon after the 6 hour window, about 4pm. Still haven't gotten credit. They are still listed as unread.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining or bitching. For as little as you have to do for a free game, I'll have patience.

I just wanted to get other people's experiences. Glad to see most MCR's are taken care of promptly.

I signed up for their dvds.megafreebie.com site and am still waiting on an MCR. However, today I got itchy and did "Amazon Webstore" and to my shock and surprise it approved literally minutes after finishing it.

The DVD site is weird. I signed up for 2 Blu-Rays, but unlike the games site it doesnt have drop down boxes to select your item, you just put the order in without any selection. What I did was send a support ticket immediately with the two selections I wanted (it did not say to do this, I just did it anyway) they replied back saying the two would be added to my order.

about 6 hours after finishing the order, its been marked shipped, whether or not thats true I dont know yet, but its pretty damn quick

Im still waiting on 4 total MCRs across both the dvds and games sites though.

Just keep trying you will get through. I just got through to check my support ticket cause I had 5.5 credits and after rock band it dropped me down to 1 and scared me but emailed support and i am back to where i should be within 2 hours how nice :).

It probably shipped yesterday, and they don't always do overnight shipping. If it doesn't come by the end of the week, I'd file a support ticket. I don't think anyone has had longer than a 3-4 days wait for their item though.

It means they ordered it from Amazon. They use Amazon Prime for shipping so when you see it was shipped you can go to Amazon.com and look at any item. On the item page it will tell you the soonest time the item can be received. That date is when you should expect the game.

I do.. only because I saved credits on another site, had like 6 credits (3 orders) and I ended up getting banned so I never got to use them. I think what he means is that, it was shipped and he recieved it on the release date.

Amazon has a program, if you pay a little extra (free for Amazon Prime members) you can get a game on the day it's released. They call it "Release Day Shipping". I'm guessing it's like 1 or 2 day shipping with an added cost to make sure it gets there the morning of release. This makes sense for the to have a program like that as they capture more dollars, and they can make sure they're an alternative to people wanting to get it from a retail out because it'll be faster.

That also happened to me with Efax and Ebay for Dummies. Thats one thing I dislike about this site. On YF360G none of my MCR were ever denied.

I signed up for the Girls Gone Wild Wildest Bar $9.99 video offer on megafreebie for the instant half credit. They auto-selected two different video add-ons to my order, but I noticed and deselected both; one was an extra $19.95, and the second one they tried to sneak into my order was $39.95- the wild orgy videos. After deselecting the second attempted add on, I clicked continue, and instead of being taken to a page summarizing my order and order total, I was taken to a page confirming my order. Luckily, I clicked my order number on this page to double check my order, and noticed GGW had added the $39.95 video that I had deselected to my order!!!
I e-mailed them immediately, and when their phone support finally opened up on Monday after the weekend, I called and they said there was nothing they could do, and I would have to send everything back (paying for shipping!) and wait for God knows how long to get a refund if it ever comes. THIS IS FRAUD. They don't send out order confirmation e-mails or have order status checks online so some people might have been ripped off without noticing.

Any advice or similar experiences??

I just checked out trainn's site.. MAN their offers SUCK. I can't even get two credits right now.. I got the stamps one but damn it's hard on that site now and I completed trainn's site before w/ $600 max.

This site is good, more offers available, but crediting isn't as good as trainn.. meaning more MCR's but they're faster in support and sending out games.. I like them, ordered 3 PS3 games (waiting for GTAIV) and working on a 4th right now.. 1/2 there.

You should be able to cancel online. I just signed up for Today's Escape, so I haven't checked yet. Dealmax had an online option for cancelling, as did YSC and the other offers from that same company.

Yeah, the number they give you, the 902 number, is for international only. The number is actually in the e-mail they send. Use that one. It was relatively painless once I figured that out. It's kind of shady that they give the international one in the Terms and Conditions.

I just downloaded the HAZE demo off the euro ps store, not that bad of a game and better than resistance imo.... it comes out in a few weeks so you might want to try that.

Yes complete the offers, and then on order page theree will be a drop down list to choose from. If you don't see something you want, send a ticket and they'll usually add it. They're pretty good about it all.

Once you get 2 credits, you can order a game. If you have selected "Twilight Princess" that means you can get any Wii game. You would go to ORDER and there will be a big list of games you can order.
Again, you only see this list once you get 2 credits.

Like lilboo said, you can order anything you want.

As for the headers, you need to send those. It depends on what mail client you use. If you use yahoo, look on the bottom left and you'll see a link to full headers. Click on that to get it. There's a lot of information on stuff like that in the OP of the YF360G.com thread.

anyone here remember how Scholastic Word Advantage works? i did the offer and apparently i was supposed to cancel in the first 24 hours, which i didnt.

i call them once and am told the trial doesnt start til i receive the package and once i do i can return it to sender and get my money back.

i call today and am told theyve already charged me and that i need to return the package to sender. it'll take 4 to 5 weeks to get my money back.

so whats the deal. how have your orders been handled?

I tried signing up for Scholastic Word Advantage, and wasn't even able to cancel it through the link since it didn't show up as an order attached to me. Haven't been charged for it, either. A few days I signed up for Baby's First Disney, and now the link to cancel it just gives a weird "File not on the server" message.

No credit for either, so. Bleh.

And I can't even send in MCRs because it's broken when I try, stupid internal server error.

Have 2 credits brewing and a .5 credit MCR. Don't know what to order. I wonder if they could add a wiimote/nunchuck combo? $60 total, but it's 2 separate items....

Send them a support ticket and ask for it. I imagine they'll add it for you.

I was charged, received my credit, but still haven't gotten a package (it's been over 6 weeks, and they haven't charged me again). Been meaning to call them to try and get my money back, but have been lazy...

yeh i really dont get this offer. lady said they charged me but the charge is not showing up on my account yet.

whatever, i'll call again within the next few days... and more than likely get a different answer yet again.

yeh i will. my brother should be getting his second credit tomorrow so i'll try to list some of the new games posted.
