well i got mine july 2003 and did not renew it , today in the mail got renew your card and get 12,500 pts free + 3 months


so for 9,95 i Get the reward card for 15 months (instead of 12) so if your a member your better in letting your card lap then renewing lol

Thanks for the info. I was actually wondering what kind of renewal deal they would have since my card will be nearing its end in the next couple months.

Now I just need to wait for EB to announce their reward zone program.

ARGH. I'm kinda pissed about this.

My card expired on 7/31, and I renewed it that day. Then the week after I get this thing in the mail saying "PLEASE RENEW TO KEEP YOUR POINTS!" with and offer for 3 extra months. Ironically enough, it said "not valid on previous renewals". So I got fucked over for renewing on time. Fucking BB...

That's why I reupped . . . they sent an email coupon with the offer to get the $10 back in bonus points. Otherwise, I wouldn't have done it.

I got the card itself for free last year . . . did anyone else get their initial card without paying???

I got mine for free last year but got screwed with the renewal this year. I waited until 2 weeks left and renewed, then they send me the 25000 pt. flyer. Oh well, I've earned about $175 or so in Rewardzone Certs so I can't complain too much.

Gotta love the Reward Zone card. I've piled up about $250 worth of certificates just from a HD TV and a computer tower! Just wish they'd just put the credit on the card instead of waiting a month for the darn certificates to come in the mail! :?

If your store is running the new Platinum rewards card for Business you can get one of those cards for free if you ask. You just need a small business. You earn a higher rate back.... not much... 5%??? more?

I got a coupon offering $15 worth of point when I renewed but only if I made a $200 purchase at the same time. I passed on that but did renew when the offered me triple points on the whole purchase if I got a $10 extended warranty on a scanner. That kind of made up for it but a week after I renewed that damn coupon the OP mentioned came in the mail. Grrr.

I mention here again the TRU has a Visa card through Chase that returns 1% as TRU store credit (4% on TRU purchases), so if you use it at BB you're getting two kinds of points at the same time.

I hated how I got that offer after I renewed. I was thinking about getting a refund on the renewal and then use my coupon.

I had my card sent to me free for the first year. So far, with loaning it to friends who didn't want one or didn't think they'd get anything out of it, I've made $80 worth of coupons. As long as I make my $10 worth in certs, I've made my money.

It expires at the end of this month, and since the beginning of June (!!!), they keep asking me to renew my card. I keep telling them I'll worry about it at the end of the month.

I hope they do send me something in the mail in the next couple of weeks, I could use an extra $10 to use down there with either a GGC or an XBox Live coupon on a $20 game.

One thing that people have to be careful is that if you have anything pending and the Reward Zone card expires, you LOSE anything there. I'm going to wait until Aug 30th (I'll be busy on the 31st) and then renew it, just in case.

the only thing i hate about the card is that you dont get the points for whole month
