I don't PC game (both as choice and circumstance, since I only own Macs).
The reviews of this game suggest that this game does not support 480p output or even 16:9 aspect (4:3 only!).
The reviews say it's an intriguing puzzle game with a great story, good length, and meaningful puzzles, but ultimately damn it as pure, unadulterated shovel(port)ware.
So I want the game, but I don't want to support this kind of practice on the console.
Convince me, CAG!
Also, if you didn't know, I can't help but wonder how well the game would come off it it was given the original title of Agatha Christie's novel.

You could buy 200 Reese's Peanut Butter Cups for the same price.

A straight port of a genre that you dont see much of on consoles is fine.
Naturally the 480i/4:3 is a non-issue to me. It very nearly makes it more attractive to me.
Its only $29.99.
You shouldnt get it because I approve of you getting it.

my GF got it , it was a pretty good game the graphics aren't phenominal even by what you'd judge Wii games by. However the storyline was quite interesting and there are 4 different endings to the game so there aren' a lot of reasons I could give you "not" to get the game it was definatly around a 7 overall it gets marked down a little graphically and my GF said there were a few things gameplay wise that didn't work as well as she would like(sadly I can't recall them atm).

You have a computer. I imagine you could save some bucks getting it on that platform.
Just think! You could play it, alt-tab out, and come back into this thread to remind us endlessly about how you did not get it on Nintendo's platform. All while enjoying a bag of honey roasted peanuts.
I imagine that sort of thing is right up your alley. Shit, you could photoshop pictures and everything. The merchandising potential alone is of the "mega" variety.

On a Mac, that's "Command-tab."

Oh, I'm plenty chipper - If I have time today, I might fit in a bit of th' ol' 'bang-bang' in House of the Dead returns, and also glare at the case for Lost Odyssey, since I don't have the time for that.
I do bristle at the idea that I'd come to talk about Wii games I don't play - that's not something, to my recollection, that I do here. Could be wrong, I s'pose.

You could always buy it used off of eBay where the publisher will (probably) never see a drop of the money from the sale, nor will it count as a (new) sale for the game...just saying.

Instead of getting whatever the hell it is that you're planning on getting, pick up a Starcraft battle chest. Then come online, 'cause I am gonna fucking break you.
Oh, and get a PC.

If the old-school adventure genre is your schtick, the PC is the obvious best bet. Don't get a mediocre adventure game on Wii because it's the only show in town. Of course, don't take my word for it... ask the 15 reviewers who have already given it a run-through:

Of course, there is Zack and Wiki, but if you like the genre you've no doubt already played that through.

Have you read any of the PC reviews for this game?

This game sounds awful. As a freak who wears his passion for adventure games on my effin' sleeve, I just want you to know: this is exactly the reason why adventure games are hated in the world. If you want to spend hours trying to find the one thing you need to click on to unlock the next "event" in the game - be my guest. If you don't mind using a walkthrough, just rent it for a night, beat it in 2 hours, and sulk about a perfectly good coupon you've wasted.
Hope this helps.
Also, as an Agatha Christie game, if it's anything like the novels, the ending will be a kick-to-the-nuts level gimmick. Smart money says somehow the player did it.
