CAGLB - MLB 08 Online League 2.0

I noticed I missed out on the original CAG league for MLB 08: The Show, so I thought I'd see if there were enough people interested to create a second league. I think the format they're using is pretty solid...15 games over 15 weeks. If anybody is interested, just reply in the thread, and we'll get a list going, and see what we end up with.

Woohoo! We got 3 teams so far! Haha, we're on our way! I don't think I'm going to be as "systematic" as FriskyTanuki with all the PM's and randomizing team selection or whatever. Just call your team, and you got it. I've been a Yankee fan for 23 years, so I can't imagine playing as anyone else.

Thanks for trying Hitman, but I guess Tanuki has his own idea of how he wants it. I just don't see the sense in dropping your league to 14 teams when there's 3 guys right here who want in.

This is why 99% of these online leagues don't work. You get a bunch of idiots who think the idea of playing in a league sounds cool, and then they flake out. Not that it's life or death, but there is a certain amount of commitment to the other players in the league. I guess some people don't get that.

Cool man, the Sox are taken, but the Mets are all yours. I'm still hopeful we can get this thing going. I'd even be inclined to start it with 4 teams, and have it be more of a round robin tournament than a season, if it meant we could get something started. If each team played each other 3 times, that would give us 12 games...which is only 3 less than what the other league is trying to do.

What are the rules for this? My schedule is busy sometimes. Does that 1 game have to be played just anytime that week?
