Resistance Rated M

I played and beat this game when it came out over a year ago. I dont really remember there being much bad language or extreme violence. Recently I let my 7 year old son play through the demo on PSN and now he wants the game badly. Can anyone tell me if Im forgetting any content in the game that a kid shouldnt see? Also any really cheap prices on this game?

I think its rated M for just the fact it is a first person shooter (kinda like Halo). Check the CAG Trading forum for used copies.

As for content, it's essentially the same reason why Halo is rated M. It's pretty much because there is guns and humans therefore it's bad. Had it been 100% aliens it would have most likely gotten a T rating.

As for deals, the cheapest I've seen it is 49.99 used at gamestop. I haven't checked all that many online retailers but 59.99 seems to be the pattern.

Yeah I didnt think much hard M was in the game, but I wanted to be sure before I got it for him.

Personally, I wouldn't let a 7-year old anywhere near this game. The above two links are a good pair of sites to look over the content and see what others thought. I've linked specifically to the Resistance reviews/content-break-downs.

Ultimately, the decision is yours, but thought you might like to see what other parents think first. :D
