Help STuck in Ratchet and Clank

I am hoping someone can get me past this frustrating level. I am truly stuck, and I've read four walkthroughs, and nothing helps.

I am on the IRis computer level where you are Clank. I can easily make it to the end of the level, but I only end up with 2 zonis. I need 3 to get them to repair the computer. I've gone through this level like 30 times. I can't find any more zonies. On the 2nd batch, I count 6 of them. Then they do the charge so that leaves me with only 2. The walkthrough says I should have 7 on the 2nd batch so what am I doing wrong here?

So close to beating this level except for this annoying part.

Check to make sure they are not facing a different direction when you try to control them, I noticed sometimes they wouldn't actually follow me because of this.

They're all the way on the right in one of the areas IIRC. Very very easy to miss.
