I've checked with Office Depot in regards to thecoverproject and their price on printing color inserts is about 59 cents apiece, which isn't a bad option for me since the color aspect of my printer SUCKS (and large black backgrounds, like those found on SNES boxes, are even worse :P )

See my post though. I don't do Paypal at all. As for the mailers thing, I buy them only as I need them, but the ones I bought from the dollar store last time(2 pack) were total crap. They split up the sides, requiring me to tape the sides shut before mailing.

But I just mailed out an old school Xbox game the other day. After tax/postage/DC the total was $2.70 exactly. Usually you can fit 2 cases in one mailer if it's big enough and the increase is nominal and it still squeaks in under the 13 oz rule, unless it's a game with a huge manual or alot of inserts.:-#:roll:

Anything outside of that and I just charge the $5.60 flat rate envelope w/ DC shipping price, since I can normally squeeze 4-6 cases and a bunch of inserts/manuals into there pretty snugly.

Anything above the 4-6 cases and I usually go for the medium flat rate box($10.60-ish plus DC).

It's just a lot easier to just toss them in a flat rate box than going 'what's the slowest but not Pony Express quality speed shipping rate you have' and annoying the shit out of other customers waiting in the post office as you jot down 3-5 different rates for one package.

I really do need to get a digital scale though, so I could just enter the weight on the USPS site and get estimates without running to the PO every time.

I did. But the account has been inactive since I set it up.:razz: As for shipping through Paypal, that means I'd have to buy a printer and waste money on ink.
