I dont know if this is true, but the Q-Man in EGM said that they are thinking abuot bringing San Andreas to the XBOX!

heres what the clip says in EGM(Pg. 58):

"Every month I receive tons of emails asking whether Rockstar will bring Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas to microsofts big bad console. Well, your all- time favorite gossipmonger finally has some info that may turn your frown upside down: a person in the know tells me that the game will indeed carjack your Xbox, but not until March of next year."

I dont know if you should believe it or not, but I hope its true.

Sounds about right for when they would release it.

This isn't exactly news. Sony announced they'd made a deal for a six month exclusive on the then unnamed next GTA title. The Xbox version will likely begin work almost immediately after the PS2 release and the user feedback from that, while the Pc version will be an extension of the Xbox work.

Doubtful. If the pattern follows..

GTA3 - GTAVC - GTASA - PS2 = October

GTA3 - GTAVC - PC = March

Not sure about teh XBox.. but I think Sony has a year exclusivity rights on SA..

It's not news that it'll come out, that's obvious. Interesting to see a rumored actual date though.

Ive heard this from another source but I don't remember who the source is. Since Rockstar released GTA double pack for Xbox, I see no reason for GTA:SA to be realised also.

The bigger question is this: Are there no elements to the GTA series or are they recycling the same thing over and over again.

off-topic: I saw Morbid Angel in San Francisco about 5 years ago, they are great live band.

Ya, it will happen. When is the only question. All they do is add on to the series. I doubt there will be anything ground breaking in SA. You can swin now. Im so excited.

THe big innovation here seems to be the players assumed ethinicity and that of his victims. Plus a lot more low-riders. A dungeon crawl in the barrio?

HEHE the only time ive ever seen them live was when i dled a concert of thiers. Pete Sandoval is a lunatic on drums, and Trey Azagthoth is possibly the best guitarist in all music, EVER. the way he shreds is just unholy, and his solos take the cake. the only other guitarist that can take him, or even come close, are Erik Rutan(Ex Morbid Angel/Hate Eternal/ Alas), Paul from Cradle Of Filth, or Richard Brunelle(Ex Morbid Angel)
