I thought it was a good price...just grabbed one.
is there any true to the rumor of Transformers getting a SE release on blu ray?

I'm sure it's in the wings somewhere, since they were going that direction before Paramount when HD-DVD only. Wouldn't surprise me if they did drop a BR SE version of this.
I ended up picking this up on a B1G1 from BB with a $5 RZ, so $12.50 + tax worked for me as a pick-up price.

How long has Amazon been selling HD-DVD's at these prices? I see A LOT of HD-DVD's going for around that price...
For example, I Am Legend for $18.99 (and $18.75 for Blu Ray)...

Ever since Toshiba pulled the plug, the prices of HD-DVDs have been creeping down. I picked up The Bourne Trilogy for $30, and there are a bunch of $10 HD-DVDs on Amazon, DeepDiscount, and places like that.

Alright, just making sure that this was because the HD-DVD was being phased out. Didn't want to miss out on any big clearances or sales. :)

Not to thread crap or anything, but CC is having a 50% off sale on all their HD-DVDs next week (starting the 30th).
They have Transformers for $29.99 in-store, so it will be ~$15 after the 50% off. I went ahead and got my copy today for $29.99 and plan on price-matching it next week.
As an aside, their website shows it for $34.99, but it was marked $29.99 in the store, not sale priced.
Plus, it's kinda been $18.95 for quite a while on Amazon.
