Hey everybody! I have a proposition for anyone that wants to get Japanese DLC on their PS3's, mainly Dark Mist and all its expansions. For those of you that haven't seen the game just check it out on youtube it looks awesome.
What I'm proposing is this: We do what people in the 'Gamesharing Group' thread are doing, where one person makes a Japanese Account and then 4 other people pitch in money. With this money we get some Japanese DLC and everyone who pitched in gets to download whatever we buy, which right now would be Dark Mist and its expansions (And then if there's money left over we'll get something else that we can all agree on.)
The only thing is that you can't actually add funds to a Japanese Account with a US/Canadian Credit Card (or if you can you'd have to lie about your billing address which is a little eeeh). So what we'd do is have all of us pitch into a Paypal account (for Group 1 we'd be pitching into my paypal account) and then with that money we buy a 'Japanese Playstation Network Card' off ebay. It's super safe and they'll e-mail the buyer the code right away. We use that code on the Japanese PSN Account and it'll add the equivilent of whatever size card we got to the wallet - Either 1000, 3000, 5000 or 10000 yen.
So who's up for it? Right now we'll start with Group 1, and I'll keep this first post updated to reflect any changes in any other groups that are made. After Group 1 has 5 people (including myself) we'll add funds to my paypal account and then I'll buy a card with that, add it to a Japanese PSN Account I've made and then share that account info so we can all download Dark Mist (and whatever else we want in the future from the Japanese Store).
And for the record I know that I don't have a trader rating, but I think I've been a little helpful since I've been here and there's absolutely no reason for me to screw anyone - we all want the same thing. Plus I'm using my own paypal account and putting my own Japanese PSN Account on the line.
So just to recap, if you want to join in, here's what you need:

2. AIM/MSN would be useful since we can keep in touch and no one in the group will miss out. It also makes it easier to see who's trustworthy and who isn't.
3. A little patience. The card's being bought off ebay and there could be a day's delay between the time you put the money in the leader's paypal account and the time the leader actually has the stuff you guys want downloaded.
As an important note, I'm not going to be held responsible if any groups other than mine go a little haywire or people get screwed. You can trust me and I'll help you guys with any questions you may have, but when it comes to actually giving your group's leader the money and him/her buying the content and sharing it, that's on you guys. That's why I'm saying use AIM and MSN to keep in touch and know who you're dealing with.
And lastly, for information on making a Japanese PSN Account and adding funds to that account after buying the card, go to www.epilepticgaming.com (http://www.epilepticgaming.com) and watch the 2 tutorials that they have on there (It's 2 seperate videos, just browse the video browser on the home screen and you'll find them). That's it!
