You get MGS4 with the PS3. Plus MGO. Let's see. That's more hours of gaming than probably all 10 PSP games Temp is interested in would provide (if he's into MGS). Resistance, Resistance 2, NG:Sigma, Ratchet & Clank, (as much as I personally hate it) Uncharted, Folklore, MGS4, Little Big Planet, Everyday Shooter, SSHD, etc. List goes on and on. And you know, one of the nicer OTTers may even gamershare with poor ass temp to get him some extra games if he's hurtin at first, but by the time he buys it, a lot of the excellent first gen PS3 titles will be dropping in price. Fuck, NG:S and Folklore were both $15 at Target recently.

Between the argument, I'll just put it this way. There's no denying I feel PSP has the best games currently (between all next gen platforms); however, I play my PS3 way more (due to more features, HD graphics on my nice TV, better online, etc.).


I'd rather all my PSP games be PS2 games.

I guess I liked being able to play those games away from home, but I did that so rarely.I'm actually kind of the opposite. If a game is on PSP and PS2, I rather buy on PS2. I've kind of grown sick of my PS2 since I owned around 300 games for it over the time period, barely played everything I owned, and I just don't care much to look at dated graphics on a big screen. I do not mind looking at PS2 graphics on a small screen, because for a handheld, it looks amazing. I kind of like laying down in bed while playing my PSP (great feeling IMO).

Anyway, my day was really crappy (lots of emo talk). It was raining outside, so I hope my project didn't get wet as I carried it home (I had to walk outside to the bus, then back home from the bus). I was all excited figuring the only issue my project would have is battery backup, but I'm having issues adjusting minutes/hours with the alarm set feature (Time Set feature works good), and my ALARM speaker STILL isn't loud enough despite rewiring it. I hate life so much I'm back to wanting to jump out of my window (third floor) and landing on a bed of nails.

I'd just make a comparison between what I feel about both and which I truly prefer in the end and why. The problem is if I don't finish college because of this stupid electronic project, I'm screwed financial wise, do not have housing for another semester (my lease expires soon and cannot renew my apartment), and so on.

It's not like i'd buy a PS3 without games. I'd probably pick up at least one.You must buy Uncharted, R&C: Size Matters, and Hot Shots Golf: OoB (my favorite exclusives for sure). Folklore, Warhawk, Ridge Racer 7 (best RR in the series IMO), Formula One: CE, Resistance, MotorStorm to some extent, etc. are other exclusives I enjoy personally. There are some great PSN games like High Velocity Bowling, PixelJunk Monsters, Super Stardust HD, Everyday Shooter, Tekken 5: DR Online (I play it often), etc.

But I'll admit, I actually bought my PS3 with no games. Well, I actually did not expect to buy a PS4 until early 2007. In late December 06, I finally saw one, was debating about getting it, but by the time I full decided to buy it (10 minutes later), a scalper took it from me. :-( ). After that, it was driving me crazy without a PS3, I bought one the very next time I saw it. Since Christmas just passed and would get a paycheck for a while, I couldn't buy a game (I just bought a memory card adapter with it). 2-3 weeks later, I started getting my paychecks (along with Meijer and Best Buy sales), I was able to buy some games (bought Ridge Racer 7 first, then Resistance, then VF5, then MotorStorm, and then F1, by the end of March 2007). I also bought a few downloads in the meantime.

He replied to me by saying "I'll sell it to you for $700". I was very pissed and saddened by the news. His girlfriend charged the PS3, but did not have a Meijer CC (so he did not get the discount). What also made me want the PS3 more was because that was the time my 360 was off to McAllen, TX getting repaired.

After giving it thought, I realized I should have bought a PS3 over buying/asking for a crapload of video games for Christmas I wasn't even going to play. I saw the last 20GB go at TRU a few days later, but I was still going to wait for another Meijer 15% sale. I saw a few 60GB consoles after Christmas, but I wanted to get a 20GB (I wanted all black and planned to upgrade HDD anyway). I had trouble sleeping because all I could think of was getting a PS3, so I told a friend via AIM (4 days after Christmas) that if I saw a PS3 while I was out, good chance I'd buy it. I go to Meijer, see a 20GB PS3, so I buy it asap without thinking (bought the only one). I just couldn't wait to save 15%, so I paid $500.
