I can't wait to dance on their grave this time next year.Yeah, because thousands of people should be out of jobs because your $5 game didn't right up at the right price.

If you think my sole reason for wanting CC out of business is one screwed up printing job, you haven't been following them long enough. I'd venture to say that a vast majority of CAGs that go into that store regularly wind up disappointed. My own list consists of...

1. Them constantly trying to wiggle out of the whole "Game X available at 2pm or you get a free giftcard" deal.

2. The Xbox points card fiasco where they pulled the 1600 point cards off the website and didn't let me get a raincheck for any of them to avoid honoring their ads.

3. The fact that the store seems to have 2 employees at any one time. One person up at a register and one guy wandering around.

Keep in mind that I live almost 40 minutes away from CC. I only go up there when there's a fairly spectacular deal or I need something from the surrounding area. If I went there once or twice a month, I imagine my list would be longer.

As far as all the CC employees, most of them are essentially unskilled laborers. They're equally capable of working at Best Buy, Target, McDonalds or just about any other chain. The only people I'm inclined to feel badly for are those who were banking on retiring from Circuit City. However, in that case they're probably managers who are at least partially at fault for the failing state of Circuit City.

Sorry about your TV Pooky.

My CC let me bring in the ad after the sale was over so they could honor it. Yours didnt?

Personally, I don't want to see CC go out of business. Sure, they stopped offering rainchecks at most of the stores near me, they are understaffed with indifferent employees, and sale item almost mysteriously always go of stock on the beginning on the sale day, but they do have one function:

competition for Best Buy. If CC runs out of sale product, I can Price Match BB. Best Buy no longer has any good gaming deals. If CC went out of business paying retail at BB and Gamestop would become the standard for many.

Ma and Pa Kettle math!

Haha. My dad was trying to explain that to me just the other day, because I had never seen it. But he forgot how it went, so there was no punch-line. :applause:

I agree.. I couldn't care less about a number of retailers, but for them to go out of business is bad news for the consumers because competition dwindles. I don't have any CC horror stories, but I also have absolutely NOTHING good to say about them. Their two stores on the west side of Cleveland leave much to be desired.
