Wow...those are some very tempting deals. Conan was pretty meh from the demo, but I have a friend that is a total Conan freak that would love to play it.

Really debating Soldier of Fortune and Dungeon Siege 2 as well...but I can't decide between which one I want as my compliment to Conan (since Gogamer shipping goes up drastically after the second item). Hell, maybe I'll just make it a second order and get Avatar for the 360 as well and sell it after I get the easy achievement points :P

It was limit one per order, i tried to place two into my cart and couldn't.
Of course they could have made multiple orders but it still makes it a little harder to hoard.
My guess is that they just didnt have that many copies to began with.

It's like the holidays, when a store says "We have Wii in stock!" and only have like 2 so everyone and their mother comes running and then seeing that it's all sold out, they feel like they have to buy something just because they came anyway believing they might get a Wii. Get it? I've never heard of a 48 hour madness sale selling out in that short of a span especially if they were limiting people to only 1 per order. And to top it off, this was when most people in America were either asleep or going to sleep? What's the sense in that? I get to work around 7am EST and it was already sold out. Agreed, all this complaining about a store selling out of a popular deal, when nobody has any idea how many they had to start. Gogamer has had a lot of great deals, many that are much better than this one, I've picked up a ton of great games from Gogamer for $2-$5. It just so happened that this was a console game a lot of people were interested in at $10. Amazon has had DOTD's go this fast.

Can't speak for everybody else, but I wish I had gotten in on the sale because I'm a pretty big Conan fan. DVDs of both movies (not that cheap double pack they have now), a little figurine on my toy shelf, several of the collection books they started printing a few years back, and every single issue of the new comic series by Dark Horse. Not a rabid fan, don't check out every detail on upcoming games or anything, but still a fan.

Flaws or not, I'm interested in the game simply because it's Conan. If I didn't have such a massive backlog, I would have jumped on this at $40 already. I'm still thinking about doing it anyway, but the clearance at some Best Buys and other sales such as this one make me think a price drop is on the way.

Holy Crap my Conan copy just came today ... now thats soon great service for "dirt cheap" shipping.

It also helps that i'm in Sol Cal and it looks like GoGamer ships from Lake Forest, CA

13$ total for a pretty decent and pretty new 360 title that arrives in two days ... not bad gogamer ... not bad at all.

Fuckers just canceled my Conan order, five days after I placed the order. Said they're out of stock for fulfillment.

Seems like they have plenty for fulfillment at $37.31.

If you would go back to the site it clearly says out of stock.

For being a "CAG VET" I would think you would know what a "bait and switch is", which is clearly what took place.

Well i ordered one copy and i got it.
You can't call it bait and switch unless you know how many of the games they actually sold.
What if they had a good amount of it like 1000 or so but a shit load of people ordered quick, its not their fault if that happens.
But if they only had like 20-40 ... then yea .. that might be a little shady.
But since i got a copy i know that they DID ship some out, how many exactly who knows.
And about the orders that got cancel, that sucks thats the only part i agree with that is bad on gogamers part.
Either way even if i didnt get the conan game this time i wouldnt go as far as not ordering at gogamers again if they have another good deal
