In for one. I was gonna pass based on the lousy reviews and lackluster demo. But $15 isn't too bad. I can probably get a few hours out of it, then flip it on eBay for the same price.

The demo for this one was absolutely terrible. Its one thing to simplify a sport and try to focus on fast-paced arcade style play, its something totally different, and altogether more difficult IMO, to completely take the fun out of something like american football, and make it a game devoid of any skill-requirement, balance, or unpredictability.

I would avoid like the plague. The ORIGINAL NFL Blitz is better than this.

I was a huge fan of Blitz: The League on the original xbox and was hoping for something similiar, but sounds like this isnt it. Maybe it's time to look for the 360 port of Blitz.

If you take away the fun factor, the defense, the offense, customization and add an unstoppable running game then yeah that might actually be equal to NFL Street.

this game is not that bad at all i rented it went and beat all 32 teams and then returned it. i am not sure why reviews about any game make a difference? if you like football why not pick it up beat the game and maybe get some friends to play with or against and it is good plus i am sure you can trade it in at blockbuster and get more then what amazon is selling it for.

For any game, even the worst ones, there will always be folks from both sides of the love/hate spectrum.

Trying to determine whether to spend money on something usually involves trying to find out exactly what the love/hate ratio for the game is, and based on that, and also what the nature of the breakdown is (mainstream hates, hardcore loves, e.g.), deciding whether to try yourself.

Just because you like the game doesn't mean people should spend money on it, nor should they avoid it because a large majority says so.

But if someone is going to be making intelligent decisions, and 80-90% of folks are saying the game is on par with watching a game of football while someone hacks your balls off with a rusty razor, then they should probably ignore what whitedeath says and give more merit to the opinion of thousands of others.

My advice to anyone considering making the moron move of buying this game to just download the demo and try it. It should tell you enough about how it plays.

Its really fun to play with your friends and such. It may not be as good as NFL Street but still really fun. You may not think so but thats my opinion. How did you make the connection that if someone said it's not worth $15 that they're an idiot? You're making it sound like any game is worth buying if it's cheap enough. Some of us like to keep our money away from awful games no matter the cost (barring free since that would just be silly). Like you, I'm just offering my two cents. However, to attack another person's intelligence on that very ground is in poor character and not to mention ironic.

I would buy it if you had the ability to video tape the opposing teams defensive signals and pre-game walkthroughs.

There's a reason why Madden 09 will contain NFL Head Coach. They couldn't sell the game so they have to give it away. I'm sure NFL Tour will follow a similar path or hopefully be the first and only release.

This is honestly the worst 360 game I have played. They stripped down NFL Street and put in the worst commentary ever conceived in a videogame.

It needs to be $15 standard.
