So I was in DFW airport yesterday traveling back for work and I stopped into T.G.I. Friday's for lunch. I was punching in the receipt for my expense report today when I noticed at the bottom some promotion number and a website. Apparently all you have to do is sign up for their rewards program (which is free) and they give you a coupon that let's you "cut the line" and a coupon for a free appetizer. For every $100 you spend you also get an $8 dollar gift card and you also get 1 stripe per dollar that you spend which can then be used on other things. If like me your company makes you travel this can be a good way to get some free meals for later since you'll rack up points and get reimbursed. Alcoholic beverages only count if there is one food item on the bill so just order some fries and go wild at the bar ;) Combine this with a credit card reward program that gives you points for eating at restaurants (I use the Citi Professional card with thank you points) to really rack up points across the board. The only letdown was that they ran out of the fried provolone they put on the cheesy bacon cheeseburger
