Okay so I got the free trial from amazon prime and I was a day off before they automatically renewed my account. I only had $50 in my debit and their charging me $80 for the automatic renewal. I was one day off so I realized it on the 9th but they charged me for the 8th. I cancelled the renenwal but I think I will still be charged. I have a few questions. Is there a way to get my money back or completely cancel the renewal via email or phone calls? and how long is the prime if I did end up paying $80 after the renewal? Best thing for me would be to not pay because I just got a speeding ticket which I can't pay off and now getting overdrafted on my debit would be horrible. Any suggestions?

You do know you could have turned off Automatic renewal in your account settings anytime before the free trial ended, and still enjoy the benifits until your Trial expires :), that was the first thing I did

Well the charge on my card is still pending so I can put in some money into my debit to not get overdrafted. But if I call amazon could I call like at 9pm or so? or is that too late? So if I dont get overdrafted I can still get the $80 back into my debit if I call or what?

I'd call amazon asap and see what they can do. Most likely you'll have to talk to one of their managers.

For the future I advise you look into getting a credit card and slowly building your credit. Look into starting off with a small amount of credit so you can pay it as it comes, usually if you get a bigger credit line without having a credit card before hand or a co-signer your rates will be higher.

Amazon Prime can be refunded in full so long as you did not take advantage of the expedited/cheaper shipping after the renewal date.
