today i got another copy of Genji. and when i went to one of my local GSs, they were telling me i had to buy the game $30, and everything else was $40. i was like that logically doesnt even make sense. they said there manager said that. if i argued w/ them for awhile, they checked the SKUs and realize it was one thing. i may just keep the Eye tho. game will be traded.

I bought strangehold about a week or two ago. And even though I extremely liked the demo...the itself game wasn't as enjoyable...it gets old and the camera sucks just an opinion though. I think it is more of a rent then buy.

edit:The movie is stated to be about the same quality as the standard DVD by other users

Only game I wanted to buy with this coupon was orange box and I couldn't find it. Already played/own Ninja Gaiden, COD4, Stranglehold, Resistence. I was debating buying Unreal but seems like bunch of single bot matches is not that fun for a game for me.

my store just got in a CoD4 I was going to get using the coupon but I got it even cheaper AND new from amazon DotD so I'm set. I also got UTIII just earlier for cheap.. my store has a couple of Ratchets in but I'm getting that through goozex (in the mail)

finally, I ended up returning Ninja Gaiden I got two days ago b/c I didn't want it anymore and they refunded the original USED price before discounts LOL so.. yeah I used that refund on UTIII the extra refunded money toward a Vegas 2.. LOLThe only issue with UTIII is that it hasn't really developed any kind of community at CAG. I don't own it, but I might try to push a night for it finally.

Anyway, I'm kind of debating about a few things by tomorrow, like:
-Do I go ahead and buy Sega Rally Revo (It's $26.99 used) since I can get it for under $20? I enjoy the demo, but at the same time, no one would play it online with me (except for one friend) and I just got GT5P (and already own DiRT, which I do prefer).

-Do I get Guitar Hero III or Rock Band stand alone? I wouldn't mind using a controller until I get the instruments, but when calculating the cost of everything separate for Rock Band, it still doesn't seem like a good move IMO.

I dunno, but I'll try to make up my mind soon. I really should just save and buy games like Mario Kart Wii, SingStar PS3 in May, etc.

Ugh. I'm getting motion sick from Stranglehold - I didn't have this problem with the 360 demo - and am finding the gameplay repetitive. (I've finished the first chapter.) The way Hard Boiled is handled is abysmal. The transfer is decent, but the audio sucks (to be expected) and the inability to do anything but chapter skip (no rewind?) or manage it as a DVD totally blows goats and defeats the purpose of including it IMO. Looks like a candidate for a quick return. Oh, well.

if you have no interest in Fable 2 or Ninja Gaiden 2 you probably should get rid of it. you can't really compare the 1st party stables of MS and Sony, but if you love your 3rd party games and Sony online, there is no reason to hold on to your 360.

I beat TP in 3 days to return. BO is sweet. I liked the Army of Two demo so I hope the full is better. I have been wanting some FPS like BS, Turok, Jericho, but never wanted to pay full price. This lets me get them much cheaper and I will probably beat them in a day or two then just use the 20% PT for GTAIV. I didn't bite on UTIII due to no single player story, I get tired of deathmatches all the time. Hots Shots I do like and loved the older ones, but not in the mood for golf right now, want to do some killin, plus when GTAIV is out, thats what everyone will be playin anyways, just got to decide what console I want it on, PS3 or 360, right now leaning towards PS3.

Also it will only be a matter of time once the "exclusive maps" for the 360 version are created and brought over to the PS3/PC by a mapmaker/modder. PS3/PC will always be the superior version for this game due to free use of any mods.

I bit on Unreal Tournament III yesterday, 27 and change..... Absolutely no time to play it though with the huge backlog & the wife and kids.

Every used PS3 game I've purchased from Gamestop has been in pristine condition, nice compared to any last gen discs I purchase from them.

Not really arguing with you here, (all current DLC maps for the PS3 will come with the 360 version) about which will be superior regarding mods, however, the 360 will have splitscreen, and to me, that makes the 360 version superior.

My 360 catalog (about 40 games) puts my ps3 catalog (6 games) to shame. . .Whichever platform you buy your multi-platform games will always have the more games, that's just how it works (since most all games are multi-platform). For an example, my multi-platform games go to PS3, so I own 15 more PS3 games compared to 360 games.

Anyway, I decided to not pick up anything else, but I'll be waiting for the next sale for sure.

Even if I bought every "must have" title (according to others, not me) coming this year - like GT5:P, MGS4, LBP - I'd be up to 10 while I'll probably be near 50 360 games by year's end.

I picked up a some titles this week on PS3 (VF5, Stranglehold, Stuntman) only because I'm so jammed up on the 360, I knew I'd have a better chance of getting to them on the PS3. (My PS3 is at home; my 360 is at my g/f's) The only exclusives I got were Uncharted and Ninja Gainen and I already had it half-played on the Xbox. I just wanted to play it in hi-def with the new levels.

The PS3 is a wasteland for games. 360 FTW!

Well, the 360 catalog has an entire year on the PS3. Also, the multi-platform edge has clearly went to the 360, up until every recently. The PS3 is finally entering it's prime era, and developers are getting a hang of working on it.
