For anyone who doesn't know yet, you can go to GameStop's website, head over to the used section for the PS3, scroll down to the bottom of the page, and click "show" for all the backordered items. You'll be able to see the used prices for most of the available PS3 titles and also click on the game's page and see the three nearest stores that have used copies in-stock.

If you can find it, Transformers is 26.99 used which puts it at ~17 after coupon and Edge. It's worth that price, despite the lousy reviews which are pretty accurate. But while it's limited and not as polished as it should be, it's not unplayably bad like Sonic, either.

I picked it up at Microcenter last week with their $10 off coupon (deal dead) (http://www.cheapassgamer.com/forums/showthread.php?t=178412) for about the same price. It's not deep, it's not great, but it's pretty and it's fun blowing shit up. I've only been playing as the Decepticons so far.

I've noticed that this has been disappearing from GS shelves lately -- when I made the rounds last week for PSP games, I only saw it available at one store. Several months ago, you could find it everywhere.

I asked at the store I hit about the $17 Warhawk and they knew nothing about it, didn't have it in stock, and when they looked it up on the computer, didn't see anything.

I picked up Uncharted for $35.74 and Stuntman: Ignition for $11.69. $50.28 OTD w/6% tax. Not bad. If I could find a Stranglehold CE and perhaps a Virtua Fighter 5, I'd be happy. Not ready to pay this much for Heavenly Sword and R&C:F.

Warhawk isn't available new at Gamestop and they don't sell it used with the headset. I think they got one initial shipment for preorders and that was it. I heard that they refuse to sell it new because of Sony also offering it for sale on the PSN.

BTW the price on the website is wrong, its actually 34.99 in store which is still a good deal with 25 or 35% off.

Ninja Gaiden is really good, even if you have played the original. And as far as the extra refund from GS, with as much as they "steal" by selling used games from developers and gamers with horrible trade in values and mark-ups, I think I would be able to sleep perfectly fine. Good score btw!

Ninja Gaiden is a great deal for $35 minus the discount. I got it for $30 at BB late last year, and absolutely loved it. It's probably the best pure action game on the PS3. Also, Stuntman is a steal for the price that it's at.

I think I'm gonna have to pick up the Stranglehold Collector's Edition and Burnout Paradise. Virtua Tennis 3 might be worth getting, but I doubt I'd play it for long so I might just rent it instead. Resistance is tempting at $32.50, but I'm waiting for an actual price drop so I can get it even cheaper.

If you can't afford both it's a great time to do it so that you can get the MGS4 bundle with the limited gunmetal ps3. Just make sure you trade in/sell that 360 before the dreaded RROD pops up :D

Yeesh. I found a copy of Stranglehold CE with the store locator and when I got there, all they had was the game disc - no Hard Boiled disc. They say that people don't give the extras back when they trade. Yeah, right.

Picked up Stranglehold and traded a game in to pay $4. I saw 3 copies of College Hoops 2K8 and even a copy of MLB THE SHOW 08.....krazee that someone traded in that game. Only a non baseball fan would trade it in....so why even get it in the 1st place.

EDIT: Nevermind..... I just tested from a Windows machine and sure enough, they don't show up. Why the heck did they stop listing them there? Too many people taking advantage? Trying to increase their newsletter subscriptions?

The funny thing is, their emails still link to it. For example, the blurb about trading 2 wii games to get MK for $9.99 says "Some exclusions apply. The one that's $17.99 is the bundle with the headset.... but, nobody ever trades back in the headset. Why they would price the bundle so much lower than the game itself is beyond me. I'm thinking maybe they strictly take them in separately now or something, b/c that product wasn't found within 100 miles of a couple zip codes I tried.

In short, Warhawk costs $34.99 used.

I had to go to 3 stores in Houston before I could find a R&C with box art ...one didn't have it at all and the other had 2 with generic boxes and no instructions. Yesterday I got the used copies of Uncharted and R&C and returned the sealed copies I got from BB last week (w/ its $10 off coupon).

I might return the Stranglehold I got two days ago and repurchase it just to save $3.50...lol....luckily the Galleria Mall here has two GS, so I wouldn't be wasting gas between two locations.

I bought strangehold about a week or two ago. And even though I extremely liked the demo...the itself game wasn't as enjoyable...it gets old and the camera sucks just an opinion though. I think it is more of a rent then buy.

edit:The movie is stated to be about the same quality as the standard DVD by other users
