My Google Checkout Account Was Suspended? Huh?

Whoa, that's something I wasn't expecting. I went to go into my Google Checkout account and a big red Popup text said :

Your account has been suspended. You may not continue processing orders, making sales, or listing items at this time.

Anyone else experience this before? I never used the account for anything iffy...just sending money to CAGs and receiving money and the occasional BUY.com checkout, etc. Anyone have any idea why they'd suspend an account? No additional info was given :( Now I'm bummed out. *sob*

Did you do the $10 off $30 google checkout thing from different emails, but same CC/billing address and all that? They've been cracking down on that.

I've done that a couple of times (about 3-5) on different CCs (only tried 2) and e-mail addresses with no such problems other than them canceling my Buy.com purchases now.

I've read on SD, and even a few of my roommates have abused it and they've gotten all their accounts banned. I think they cross-check a lot of different things, like billing addresses (which tend to be the same for each CC), names, shipping addresses, yadda yadda.
It's just something to think about...but besides that, I really wouldn't know.

Is this a banning of their GCO account or their e-mail address? I've been afraid for awhile they would mess with my e-mail address.

I think their GCO accounts across all their email addresses. I don't think they terminated my roommate's gmail accounts, only their GCO ones. I'll ask them when they get back.
