Stupid PayPal

So I order something off eBay, and I pay. Then, I look at my PayPal account, and rather than taking the money from the account, it tries to transfer from my bank. So now, I have to wait 3 - 5 days for the money to transfer, before he can ship my item. Even though, it was $105, and I had $111 in there. Why didn't it just take it right out of my PayPal balance?

No, it was fully updated. I had recently bought a book and a Rubik's cube, but they both cleared, and the balance was removed. I'm just mad as now I'll have to wait an extra week for the camera to ship.

It should have taken it from the paypal balance first unless you've specified in your preferences for it to do otherwise. It should have indicated on the last page of the payment pricess, $105 from Paypal Balance....

Are you a seller? Of late I noticed that if you owe E-bay fees that they won't let you take it directly out of paypal. I guess they won't to force you to pay fees first. I usually write the seller, and pay directly with paypals instead of e-bay checkout. I have no problems with that way. I had the same thing happened to me, untill I noticed this trend. Now I always check the e-bay check out to see if it coming from the balance or through an e-check.

usually it tells you before paying where the funds will be pulled from. But yeah that's weird it normally automatically takes it from your current balance in paypal. In any case, down with paypal!
