One thing you guys can sometimes forget is that even though I love doing this service, I'm extremely broke at the moment. Most of my credit cards are near their limits so I can't really buy stuff until I receive payment for your orders. When I see a really great deal, I'm tempted to pick up some extras since I know someone will want them down the road, but I have no guarantee and often no funds to do so. Once I pay down my debts I'll have a lot more buying power (like I used to a few years ago) but for now, I'm pretty much only able to buy stuff one at a time when I receive funds from you guys. It's a bummer I know, but one I don't have much choice in :(

Hey Goomba, have you ever considered allowing people to have some sort of credit system with you on your site. For example, one can send you say $100 and you can mark it down in the database you keep and when they order something you can just take it out of that balance. I'm sure more than a few CAGers wouldn't mind doing that especially those who like to use your services often!

It'd could be beneficial for the user and yourself as the user can be better assured that you can order a product for them once you get a quote. Also this can help you build some funds to buy extras of those crazy deals that may come available (like the xbl cards). Also as an incentive, you could even offer to waive your service fee for a few purchases for those users that would be willing to do that.

Don't know if it even a good idea or if it is even feasible but you have earned the trust here from a lot of us I'm sure, and if I could think of more items I'd get from the US I would definately want to help you help us get more deals! :D

Jbently, I definitely have thought about this and it's something I'm looking into. On my website you can already purchase Gift Certificates for the store items, but I haven't set it up for Direct Requests yet. But definitely a good idea. Also Important: If you send money to me on Paypal, ALWAYS make sure to include your username/invoice number or mention what the payment is for. Too many times I get payments from someone using an account with an Email different than the one on file and I have to figure out "Who is this payment for?". I receive almost 200 Paypal payments a week (or more) due to eBay and other services like GFC so please always specify what the payment is for :)

For purchases on my website it's not necessary since it automatically generates a ticket number and gives me all your info, but for direct requests and such, please mention who you are and what the payment is for. Thanks ^_^

Some places are still taking pre-orders but they say they won't come out until April or May....talk about small expectations on the part of Mad Catz =P I find it a little weird that I had almost 20 requests for these sticks before when the pre-orders for the first shipment were available, and every one of them were cancelled when people heard it'd cost $30 to ship to Canada, and now people are paying like $200-$300 USD on eBay for them. Oh well. You snooze you lose unfortunately =P

As for pre-orders on Amazon it's totally up to you, but the best thing is to pay yourself and have it shipped to me if you're paying with a credit card (since there will be no 6% fee for the actual item cost from Amazon). If you're paying with direct funds then it really makes no difference. If you want to pre-pay me that's fine, or if you want to order it yourself and ship to my house, that's fine too. In any case let me know when you are having items sent to me that way I know what to be on the look out for and who to mail it to :) Thanks!

It's funny, you're the second person in a single day to ask about shipping alcohol. I believe that it CAN be shipped, but it may be more expensive due to volume weight and the fact that alcohol is a flammable substance and therefore hazardous to ship according to the USPS. Just out of curiousity though what is the brand? I realize you said they don't ship to Connecticut, but I have friends/family in all different states nearby. Let me know :)

Well I can live with the box being a bit beat up as long as the LPs made it to you safely. I blame it on customs as they are infamous for being a bit rough on the boxes. Amazon usually uses tough boxes though so that's the good thing. I made sure that they had enough padding and will use even more next time around.

Hey there Nero25, it totally depends what you buy. If you buy from Amazon.com then I typically get your items in 2 days and ship out the third day. If I can pick up your items at a local store then it may be sooner, and other websites are usually 5-7 days. I do offer flat rate shipping for most items (it's based on weight still). An average game weighs between 5-7 ounces and costs $3.00 in shipping costs. I charge $2.00 service for the first game/item and $1.00 for each additional item.

So for estimates sake, most sites that offer free shipping on games (Amazon, and others) just add $5.00 USD to the total and 99% of the time that'll be the price due for a single game. If you have any other questions just ask. The site is really not updated (I'm working on it though!). I have too many side projects ;)

As for Okami it is $20 USD plus shipping/fees (comes out to $25 USD...cheaper if you buy with another item or two). What's funny is that the "1 Pound" boxes actually weigh 1 pound and 5 oz. (I'm weighing them on my digital scale). They are the Family Sized Boxes so yes they are larger. You'll see in about a week or so ^_^

99% of the games around me are gutted during these sales. So if you want a new copy at a good price I can help you out, but if you want a sealed one it'll probably be very little to choose from. Just letting you know ahead of time so you don't have your heart broken.

Most of the time the discs are perfect and the case/manual are too, but there have been some horror stories of scratched discs, kids ripping manuals, etc. I of course wouldn't buy a game unless it was perfect, but some people don't like buying NEW games and getting "new" games. If you know what I mean.

The reason I hate it is because my store often doesn't show me what disc they put in the game before sealing it, so I have to take it off (which ruins the box because it leaves residue) and it's normally the wrong game which is hilarious.

The more serious reason is they put all those damn stickers on it for pricing, and then the "breakable" seal they put on the opening part of the case. It all leaves Residue (since their price stickers are the DEVIL and they use ones that don't bloody come off nicely) and it annoys me.

I wish my post didn't kept getting deleted telling people Game Days are in Canada EB Games stores too... The reason I have to ask you to pick these games up for me is because I work from 7-6 on Saturdays so I won't even have time to get into an EB Games.

So basically if those games I mentioned drop to a reasonable price (~$15 for the collections, and $45 or less or so for Valkryia Chronicles) I'll take it.

Valkryia Chroncles I always wanted, but it never dropped price and I could never justify a sleeper hit at full price :P It's called a SLEEPER for a reason!!

P.S.: Goomba, you any good at taking those sticker things off of the boxes?

And, how much taxes are put onto the games ontop of the EB list price [How much tax are you charged in your state... 6%?]? (So I can roughly get the max price to expect)

Rogan, I'm very very very good at removing stickers. Last years Game Day sales stickers came right off (except those store seal ones you mentioned that leave marks on the case. I generally ask them not to put them on and they usually don't). I also use Goo Gone and such to remove normal sticker residue and it works wonders.

** UPDATE **

Alright guys, I'm going to bed now but I wanted to let you know that I take ALL of your advice and insight to heart about my GFC website. I've been horribly busy this year (right from the start of January till now) with work and all, but I squeeze in whatever time I can doing updates behind the scenes.

All of my hard work will pay off one day and right now is the time you will start seeing actual updates on the site (I swear). So far all the coding I've been doing is to maintain databases and boring things like that (though very important) whereas now I'm getting to the good stuff. Please check out the website and let me know if you see anything behaving oddly. Keep in mind the Rewards system and several things (Games Inventory, etc.) are not yet live. jeffx, this will be an option in the future (I just started writing it ^_^;;) but the reason I have this option is that you can still click the out of stock game and see other places to buy it (it will show you Amazon.ca, Amazon.com and eBay prices). This is really useful for game shopping as well even for in-stock games as my prices aren't always the lowest. I want you guys to get the best deals, and if you buy through my affiliate links you help me as well. Again, Win/Win business is my goal!
