I'm actually quite interested in where some people buy their items and for what price, might be interested in ordering as well :D especially apparel/footwear, it's really hard to find shoes like Onitsuka in Toronto for a good price.

Myv, yeah the Onitsuka are really cool shoes. Those ones in particular were exclusive series/color to Zappos.com which was really neat (and great prices too!). If you guys want I can start putting some information on what they cost and where they came from in the photo details, but keep in mind sales go fast online these days.

penetratingpincer, no X-Rated items though I have been selling a LOT of women's undergarments (bras/panties/etc.) lately for some reason lol. I think our clothing section is giving gaming a run for its money. In the summer I will be starting a clothes-centric service that mirrors GFC that will have some promotions of its own though. Keep an eye on that :) As for items that can't be photographed, I meant more like snowboards and such that were too long to fit into frame, but I figured out a way to photograph my skiis order so I'm sure I can pull off 99% of items ^_^

shadowjeff, unfortunately no. Only the first 4 that I ordered went through. The rest were cancelled by Dell. So yeah...unfortunately not. I still have no guarantee those other 4 will go through but I'm hoping they do because I'd hate to have to refund all those. As always, I put orders in the order I receive them and the order I receive the money so occasionally companies do put limits on how many you can order. Sorry buddy!

** GFC GYROS Update **

Just wanted to let you guys know, all orders that are before March 2010 have been moved to the GYROS Archive. I want to keep the GYROS page as de-cluttered as possible, so for now I am going to have months where all orders are completed sent to the archive. This means that the first week or two of each month they will stay on the main GYROS page and once a month becomes entirely "green" it will go to the archives. Hope that makes sense. ^_^

In addition, all orders that currently take up more than one line on the GYROS page have been given spaces before and after their individual lines to make it easier to read. This way there isn't just a giant clump of information all jumbled together. I may end up double spacing all of the orders, but for now it'll only be for orders that take up more than one line. Also, all orders from now on will be photographed and updated in real time so keep an eye out for those nifty blue links now :) Should be fun!

Gold_Guardian, the way we deal with these Amazon Credits is this: The first person to request one and pay for it will get it (as most of these are one per customer). So you'd just put the price of the game as $10 or $20 cheaper depending on the deal. We will simply just order it for you and give you the $10 or $20 instantly towards the item. So if it was a $50 game with a $20 credit, then you'd just put the game price as "30.00" on the form and in the additional info mention the Amazon credit :)

game_fanatic, a big hit indeed :) Our user numbers and orders have been increasing at a ridiculous rate lately which is great! As far as I know with the Amazon deal that should work absolutely. The only real issue MIGHT be that if I order items for other customers and ship to my UPS address then it may be a conflict (they claim one per user and one per household). It's worth a shot though. The worst that will happen is they cancel the order, but I seriously doubt that'll happen. Go for it!

Yes that is the case, but I give you guys the credit immediately since I accept Amazon Gift Cards as payment. I get it later on but that's fine since I am the one who orders them :) So I issue the credit immediately to you when you pay with those games.

I will do my best. As always if the game is available online then it is LIKELY a sealed copy, if it is available in store it's 99% going to be "gutted". Technically "New" but unsealed and opened. Gamestop Online usually has the same prices but still charge 6% Sales Tax and free shipping for most items (though it can take up to 2-3 weeks at times). It's up to you. Thanks!

Disgaea 3 will be $21.50 + $5.00 = $26.50 SHIPPED. This includes everything. Keep in mind that the local stores often restrict copies to one per customer. If I bring my wife then I can likely get two copies (per store) so theoretically I can get quite a few if I run around. Be sure to get your orders in ASAP and pay up front to secure the best chance of me getting them. Last year the good games sold out really fast and the somewhat less great games were available 2-3 weeks at least. Thanks guys.

I'm not sure, the price could be standard, but i don't see any other preorders for it atm & it's nice just in case, so you can lock in the price if they decide to charge more for it. Honestly expected them to charge more unlike Super Street Fighter IV

We really do try to be very transparent about how we run things. Dell had those Coppers for 175$ which drops from 400$ MSRP, so everyone jumped on it. You'll be getting a lot of orders from people on that site from now on...I guess that's good for you. Yeah...about Head-Fi...let me warn you. This is probably the most popular audiophile message board on the internet. The thing is, once you go there, you won't be able to stop doing some research. You will want new headphones, get a bunch of recommendations, compare, do more research, and you'll be essentially spending several hours a day on it. That's not the worst though, you will want to buy good quality headphones. Your budget will ALWAYS increase...that's the Head-Fi syndrome. Your wallet will not be happy at all with you.

Take a lot at me. I discovered this website three months ago as I wanted good quality earphones. My initial budget was 50$, which increased to 80$, which increased to 150$...then 200$, and now 350$. Yeah, you get the point. There's a fair warning for you :D.

Just got home and wanted to say that despite working 9 hours (10.5 if you count the commute) in the tiring NAPT Poker Tournament today, we were able to get all of your Disgaea & Valkyria Chronicles copies ^_^ How did we manage this? Well my friends: Mrs. Goomba trekked to 6 different Gamestops on her day off and got as many copies as she could =) A big thanks to Mrs. Goomba and her hard work!

About the Monster Copper orders, several people are reporting delays and cancellations in their orders with Dell on the official Head-Fi.org. I'm fairly sure that ours will get delayed too. They don't update the estimated shipping date, you have to call them apparently.

That is to say, if you order a bunch they figure that you're a reseller and will ship out to the individually purchased customers first. I'm still crossing my fingers though. We did get around 11 orders but only were approved for 4 of them from Dell. So we'll see. I'm still optimistic!

Yes, Xbox Live subscriptions do work but I'm not sure about the game redemption codes to be fully honest with you. I know that most DLC codes DO work but not sure about full game redemption.

As for seeing me on TV, it's not impossible. ESPN is filming for almost a week straight starting on Tuesday (though I'm sure the footage will be delayed a while). Today I dealt until the very last table down to the final three players, so we'll see. Honestly I'm not really wanting to be on TV, but if it happens it happens. I have a feeling they will have "professional" dealers do the TV final tables (as if I haven't been doing this for 3 years now) but that's fine. As long as I make my money at the end of it, I'll be happy :) God knows I'd never hear the end of it if I made a mistake on national/international television.

Nah, it's actually a great thing! I just feel really bad because it seems that whenever I have intentions of actually catching up to all orders, I get a landslide of new ones. I'm training my wife to help me with orders/invoicing again as I've completely changed my system since she last attempted to try to help, but she'll be leaving for China in two weeks and will be gone a month (lonely Goomba!) so I'll wait till she gets back to train her again. Once the poker tournament ends on 04/13/2010 then things will be "normal" again but I am not sure how my schedule will be.

I am home safely finally. Today was the first time I ever got literally stuck in another state. Apparently the torrential downpouring of rain we had the last few days flooded the nearby state of Rhode Island a lot worse than it did my home state of Connecticut (which also got hit with a ton of rain). I ran into no less than 15 road blocks driving home today and had to take the wackiest backroads to even manage to get out of the state. There were malls 9 feet under water, cars stuck in the roads, cops blocking all major highways and roads and actual rivers running in the streets. It was absolute chaos.

I am just happy to be home (at 12:56 AM no less!) after that insane trip home. I'm going to spend about 30 minutes processing some orders but I won't be able to get to nearly as many as I would like. Okay so here's how it goes: Yes if you want an item you have two options: 1) Use the Direct Request form on the site, let us know what you want to order and pre-pay according to the payment instructions. We will order the item for you and ship it up to Canada when we receive it.

OR

2) You can order the item yourself with our "Package Forwarding" service, have it shipped to us and then we re-ship it back to you. Doing this makes one extra step as we will have to manually invoice you (and right now as the site mentions we are about 48 hours behind on invoicing. So if you put an order in now it may be up to 2 days before we can send you an invoice). The good thing is though if you use the Package Forwarding option at least it will be on its way to us immediately :)

Apparently the torrential downpouring of rain we had the last few days flooded the nearby state of Rhode Island a lot worse than it did my home state of Connecticut (which also got hit with a ton of rain). I ran into no less than 15 road blocks driving home today and had to take the wackiest backroads to even manage to get out of the state. There were malls 9 feet under water, cars stuck in the roads, cops blocking all major highways and roads and actual rivers running in the streets. It was absolute chaos.

I am just happy to be home (at 12:56 AM no less!) after that insane trip home. I'm going to spend about 30 minutes processing some orders but I won't be able to get to nearly as many as I would like. Tomorrow I will be home around 7:30 PM and will process for a good 4-6 hours though. Man, what a nightmare today was =P

It must be something, that storm is making the news prime time here on TV (Montreal). Good luck with all of this.

I think I am slowly losing my mind :) I'm working almost 100 hours this week, I'm up at 3:30 AM when I have to get up at 9:00 AM and I'm packing a 48 pound box of items for a giant GFC order. RoganSarine, that's hard to say. I am really partial to Express T-Shirts (they are ridiculously comfortable) though their styles seem to change month to month and sometimes week to week. I'm also really fond of Uni-Qlo (a Japanese company) that has a flagship store in NYC. I only go there once every few months though. There are definitely some great designs out there though. I also recommend you checkout Threadless T's and shirt.woot.com T-Shirts though their quality isn't as high (though they have some great designs). We can definitely recommend some other brands to you :) After all, this year we will be debuting a fashion-centric service =)

TripleQ, while I'd agree with you that it'd be useful in a sense it'd also complicate issues in certain cases. Many types of sales we get are one-off sales and if I list a website or a price that someone got something, there's a VERY good chance it won't be available for long at that price. For more general pricing though I think I'd agree with you. I'm not sure GYROS would be the best place for it, but I'm open to suggestions and debates. Maybe I can make a little icon that is clickable pointing to the website it was purchased from? Not a bad idea actually....

*DEAD TIRED*

Would you believe I just worked a 12.5 hour day at the NAPT event today? Geez, I was hoping to get all my 8 hours but man I got more than I bargained for. The hardest thing was not getting a break for the first 6 hours of the day. Overkill. I'm extremely tired but still going to try and pack a few of your items.

GYROS and new DR's will not be updated much in the next few days guys, warning you now. I will be off on Sunday though and will pick up the new UPS packages and hope to catch up on a lot of things.

shadowjeff, I'm sad to say I purchased them in 2008 or so. I nearly forgot about them (I have about 15 brand new DS Lites including the Mario one, the Brain Age blue one, the Pokemon LE ones and more). So yeah, going to sell them all while I can because the DS XL and 3DS will further degrade the value of the DS Lite, even though I love the system (and it's great little GBA slot).

jeffx, I received all your games except Folklore. For some reason it was on backorder. I can mail out the other games for you now and mail out Folklore when it eventually gets here to your new address. Or I can just refund you if they end up cancelling Folklore. Sorry for any confusion.

capitol, yes I got your order. All should be set. I will add it to the GYROS list as soon as possible. This week I'm working almost 80 hours so it's just been a nightmare for me. I even pulled an all-nighter last week to catch up on orders and didn't make it fully. Next week things will be back to normal. Thanks!

Yeah shadowjeff, I do collect them but the ones I'm selling were meant to be resold and I just never got to them and put them away and forgot about them. I was cleaning my storage area and was like "ooooohhhh yeah I forgot about these" :) So I need the money so I'm selling them.
