Undying is supposed to be very good.

Undying IS very good. Scary as hell too. It's a pretty fun FPS with a decent story, and tons of chills, or both the shock and paranoia kind.

Sigh... I can't get the gamestop site to work. It always seems to be having problems or not working or something. It makes me mad cause there's definitely some stuff I want to pick up.

Hmmm...works for me.
Are you at work? Perhaps your company has it blocked....

Undying's the only good thing on that list. But oh, how good it is...

Think Call of Cthulhu + Half-Life, and you have Undying. Fucking awesome game for its time, and holds up surprisingly well today too.

Do you have your cookies enabled? What level do you have your privacy setting on your browser set to?

I'm doing this from my home computer where I have the privacy and security stuff set at the lowest setting right now and cookies are enabled. I don't think that's the issue though, because sometimes I'm able to access the site, but right now, it's just saying "cannot find server." It's really wierd. I've tried some different browsers too and nothing seems to work. I'll try again from a different computer in a little bit.

EDIT: Tried it on another computer, still didn't work. Kinda wierd. I'll see if there's some way yet to grab some of this stuff.

Undying is a bad ass game. I got it in one of those 2 game bundels for 10 bucks with Alice(another GREAT game), and it was worth the money.

I agree undying is great, I still need to finish it, unfortunately it will have to wait til I have a good computer again.

I added FIFA 2004 and dropped the price on backyard baseball.

Battle Engine Aquilla, Echelon, Dead To Rights, and Undying are all worth their prices (though some only skim by). Definatly some good deals, why pay $50 for a new game when you can pay $5 for an old but still very good game? Oh wait, I'm at CAG, I guess I don't need to use that line :D

I would add Sum of All Fears to that list and probably State of Emergency too. State is ultimately repetitive, but fun for a short while.

Sum of All Fears, while I have never played it, it got pretty good reviews 79% avg. on gamerankings, along with an 8.7! from IGN and an editor's choice.

OMG I AM SOOOO ALL OVER HAMTARO!!!!!!

:?

Kidding...

....anyways, great deals here...but if I wasn't so backlogged on PC games as it is...I'd grab a few. Maybe in the future though.

Definitely - Undying came out in 1999 or 2000 (forget which) so the graphics are a bit oldish, but it's a really good game and you'll definitely be able to play it.

Umm, "whatever video card it came with" isn't exactly helpful, that's like saying "I got a computer the other day, will it run Doom 3?". But anyway, it probably will as Undying is so old and based on the Unreal engine. Hell, it might even have a software mode.

Here's the minimum requirements:

400 MHz CPU
64 Megabytes of RAM
Supported 16 MB Direct3D or Glide capable video card with
DirectX 8 compatible driver
140 MB of free hard drive space

Honestly, you should be fine. It might not run great, but I'll bet that it will run. If you're that concerned, you should download the demo and try it.

Actually, Undying came out in 2001 - Feb. 19, 2001, according to GameRankings.

So it's an older title, certainly, but it's not ancient...yet. :D

BTW, Undying's also available in a $20 five-game bundle with the cheesy name "Vault of Darkness," along with Alice, Dungeon Keeper 2, Dracula Resurrection, and Dracula: The Last Sanctuary. Alice, DK2, and Undying certainly make it a worthwhile bundle, and the Dracula games...well, I'm sure they make decent coasters...
