Is anyone else kind of disappointed in Fable II after playing Fallout 3? Like, I still think Fable II is a great game but it isn't as nearly a good a game as Fallout 3. :\

This game has very, very quickly vaulted (no pun intended) into my top five favorite games of all time, taking Oblivion's place. I love post apocalyptic settings (especially in movies like Mad Max and Doomsday), I love urban exploration, and this game combines the two. Throw in the RPG elements of Oblivion and you've got one of my favorite games this year.

Far Cry 2, Fable 2, Little Big Planet, Fallout 3.. I love this time of year. I really, really, really love this time of year.

And not even just those, in November, I have to pick up Smackdown vs Raw 09 and Mirror's Edge! Ahh!

Vault spoilers so did anyone kill the Overseer? I did at first, but then I saw Amata, and she was freaking out (obviously) and I had been friends with her all my life so I didn't want to do that.. I re-loaded a save and kept the Overseer alive and he handed over the password and everything else.. the amount of choices you have in the game and the outcome is staggering

I killed him. Then I tried killing Amata but it wouldn't let me. Instead of dying, she would just faint for a few seconds and stand back up.

The last time a game ever did that to me was Stranglehold and when it happend I just pressed the RT again and it returned to normal, don't know how well it'll work for you.

I Did, but I just figured meh and let it be as Amata freaked out. I Did feel a bit bad, but not bad enough to stripping the Overseer and taking all his supplies.

Also more I play this game the more it sucks me in...

I played a lot yesterday.

I went on a tangent from my helpful, friendly self and killed everyone in Megaton. After raiding their supplies, hacking computers, and seeing what I could get if I killed certain people (the Overseer's key, a bobblehead, holotapes, and other very interesting goodies), I went off on a trek to GNR Plaza. Along the way, I encountered mutants, raiders, and creepy minotaurs. I leveled up myself to level 5, and had no difficulty taking down Super Mutants. Stupidly, I didn't save my Very Evil tangent, and was killed by multiple rockets during a gun fight at GNR Plaza. If only I could have fixed the minigun; I would have killed those GNR Plaza raiders very quickly. All I had that worked was my pistol that dealt out 9 damage. I am glad I explored early. It got that craving out of my system, and now I will focus on quests and sidequests. But man, that was quite an epic journey.

Fallout 3 is incredible and incredibly immersive.

I have to get up for work in four hours. :cold:

Just put in my first 3.5 hours of the game in. I'm finding some of the combat difficult as I don't really have anything good as far as equipment goes. I'm liking the conversations so far though.

You ruined a pretty cool quest you get later in the game by doing that. I doubt it will be available to you. That's the main problem I had with going through the game. I had to think about my decisions, and how they would affect quests later on.

Regarding the Overseer I killed him as well, but after seeing Amata freak out I reloaded and didn't kill him.

Enjoying the game so far, played about 8 hours in one sitting which doesn't happen too often. I haven't even gotten very far in the game but I did something stupid that look me a pretty long time. Basically, I went where I didn't have to go searching for The Family.

Haha looks like we were all thinking alike I killed the Overseer as well and I also killed that little adopted girls dad in Megaton. LOL He caught me stealing and I had to shut him up. So yea I went ahead and destroyed Megaton since i'd already started the ball rolling. I saved it right before that point to go back to later and see what happens if you disarm the bomb instead. I'll prolly just restart and play the whole thing as good sometime later on. Also go an extra save set aside when I was at level 6 to see if I can get back to good karma or neutral for achievement points lol. If I can't it's fine because i'll be playing back through this sometime in the future anyway, i'll just have to be a good guy next time.

I'm playing a somewhat good guy. I have to commit a lot of minor crimes though because I started my game with the idea of having good lockpick/hacking/speech skills and two of those give bad karma. I'm still "Good" though so as long as I don't start killing innocent people I should be fine.

There are a few places in Megaton that you can sell. One is the little bar at the bottom, another is the bar at the top, and then finally at Craterside.

It just sucks that they're limited on how much they give in return. Makes it a little bit of a pain.

Thanks for the heads up.

Don't know why I didn't think I couldn't sell at Craterside. It had a buy option but I didn't think to hit "LT" to sell :)

When you do the opposite in Megaton you get: a house with a robotic butler who gives you free water and free haircuts. It also provides a place to sleep and had a stand to hold all your bobbleheads. It also seems like the stuff you put in your house won't randomly disappear as well.

I only got to play through the intro last night. Some funny stuff happened.I was sneaking around as people searched for me in the vault when I came upon Amata being harassed by two guys. I snuck in the room and killed one of them with a stealth bat attack only to have Amata scream, "My father!" Oops.

I'm done with this thread for now, I don't want to accidently read spoilers until I've done at least one walkthrough.

I am not. This game is good and I like it a million times better than other Bethesda products, but Fable II really sucked me in from the start. This is again a great game, but it hasn't given me a connection like I did with Fable II. I haven't played as much of this game yet. But so far, I enjoyed Fable II more than this.

Anyway, going to throw more time at this game. :whee:

E 5

Came across a glitched achievement, minor spoilers I suppose.

Following in His Footsteps. Basically I didn't pay Moriarty to find out about my dad and was doing a bunch of side quests. The quests took me to Rivet City and I talked to Dr. Lei completing the Following in His Footsteps quest in my Pipboy, but not giving me the achievement points. I tried going back to Moriarty and paying him, but the option is no longer there. A bit annoying, but at least it is early in the game and would be pretty easy to grab in another playthough.

I don't think it's glitched in the way that you don't get the achievement as I did the same thing after Moriarty. Then I went to the place I was suppose to go before Rivet City (The Radio Station that fights the "good fight") and got the achievement.

How are the side quests in this game? Looking at the achievement list it looks like the majority of the ACH come from finishing story-line quests.

In Oblivion, you could kind of get an idea about the side quests such as the Fighters Guild, Thieves Guild and such.

I would have thought that you might have different quests lines for the factions in the such as the Brotherhood of Steel and the Enclave (which I assume are in the game).

The side quests aren't linear like they are in Oblivion. You get them from talking to random NPCs. Most of the achievements actually come from side quests.

Also the chick who wants to use you in her book and send you for landmines will still be there after it blows up but she's torn up and a ghoul now. Oh yea and after I killed the little girls adopted dad I found her wondering the streets talking about who will raise her now. Maybe she will join the church and let that lady care for her she says.

After unloading on him in the subway I got the launcher and exited back out the door to the aboveground and a message displayed that Dogmeat had died! FUCK!

Dogmeat is at The "Minefield" or near it rather in a scrapyard. It's kinda a fair ways Northeast of Megaton/Big Town. (You get the minefield location during a neutral/good karma playthrough quest chain for the survival guide in Megaton. Maybe even evil, but I don't know considering what evil does to the town.)

"The Family" is at in the subway. There's a ghoul you can ask about their specific location inside once you're in the Subway.

Hey guys, im new here, couldnt help but put in some comments. Fallout 3 is going awesome, its just as good as the first 2 fallouts in its own way.
first off, how do I put up the spoiler button to reveal things. I am having a problem with the blood ties quest and was wondering if anyone else had the same problem. Did everything, found ian, gave letter, became all friendly with everyone and now im quick traveling back to Arefu, everytime i get there, raider shows up and smokes the guy defending the town (cant remember his name) no matter how many times I do it, and then everyone goes hostile.
Also, the steam engine rifle kicks so much ass, as does the shishcababe. and the nuka grenades. Finding schematics is so great! Highly recommend having a high repair skill. and if anyone wants to know where to get the most powerful weapon from the first fallout in fallout three, let me know ;) i found it and I almost wet my pants.

If you quote someone it will be the little Face icon with the finger over his mouth.

Or you can just type this [*SPOILER] [*/SPOILER] around what you want to hide. Don't use the * though. Delete that part out. Or if you just go to "Go Advanced" when tryping something you can find that Face Icon all the way to the right hand side on the Message Toolbar.

Hope that helps and wasn't confusing :whee:

How do you diffuse it?

Also, you can up your STR SPECIAL skill by 1 really easy in Megaton by...

...pickpocketing the sheriff's house key off of him, sneaking in, going upstairs to his office and swiping the bobblehead on his desk. I made a save right before I entered just in case because I didn't want him to catch me and end up having to murder him.

The INT bobblehead is also really easy to get by...

...going to Rivet City(extreme southeast corner of the map, by the Jefferson Memorial) to the science lab and getting the bobblehead off of the doctor's desk.

You diffuse it by having 25 explosives skill if I remember correctly. Though I talked to the Sheriff first about diffusing it before I actually attempted it. So I don't know if you can do it without talking to him first.

About the Strength Bobblehead. You don't need to pickpocket the sheriff. If you diffuse the bomb in Megaton, his house should be able to be opened without the key. At least that's how I got it as the only person in the game I've pickpocketed from so far is Moriarty.

Thanks, I've been putting my points into lockpicking and small arms so I'll keep that in mind next level. Do you know if 25 on that skill will also be enough for me to do that subquest where you have to diffuse mines or something for research on that book for that woman in Megaton?

This game has taken over my life. I'm really liking it.

My main complaint is that the 3rd person view looks janky as hell. I like being able to see my character, so if I'm given n option, I almost always prefer 3rd person views. The press releases said you could play either way, but it's really hard to do combat, and the animation isn't so hot: your character looks like they're ice skating. I know that I can use 1st person, (I have been mostly), I just like 3rd better...when it's done well. Mass Effect, Assassin's Creed, Gears of War, even GTA have good looking and functioning 3rd person cameras.

I'm also kind of bummed that there's a level cap at 20. (I'm not there yet, but i know it exists.)

EDIT: Also, the D-Pad for quick switching weapons really only gives you 4 slots. The 4 corner ones are impossible to select accurately, especially during combat.

Not really a spoiler, but a "how do I get there question" Where the hell is Rivet City? Is it the giant battle ship? If so, is there anyway to get in without leveling up lock picking all the way that high?

There's a metal walkway across from it. Go up the ramps and on the top level there will be an intercom switch that will trigger a bridge.

It's either 25 or 30, but you don't need to disarm any as she gives you a specific objective. So long as you have any frag mine in your inventory, it should complete the optional when you turn it in I think.

Just make sure to save before trying and use the action/interact button to disarm and then pick them up. Don't know what the button is for the 360 version as I'm playing the PC.

I just swam across the first time, but there are a few bridges that are intact. Don't know if any subways connect across the to the opposite side of the river that aren't blocked from rubble.

Also, those fire ants are a bitch!!!!

Yeah, when I did the quest that involves them I would eat their glands or whatever for fire resistance. Helped quite a bit, but I still went low health too much as I did it when I was low level.

I have question for those who have completed "The Replicated Man" quest.

So which one is the "Good Karma" thing to do? I got the audio log from Doc Church and then I found another one in Manya's house and asked her about it. Then a little later this lady wants me to take the chip to Zimmerman and tell him the android is dead. Thing is, I have the option to keep looking for him.

So I'm not exactly sure what I should do, I assume if I keep looking for him then that would be "Bad Karma" since you most likely rat him out?

Ya, you should get it. I liked oblivion despite the combat, the combat in this is much better. It's not perfect; it can be a little annoying to have the crosshairs on someone and not hit them because your chance to hit is decided by skill points, but you get used to it. Also, the setting of the game is way more interesting than obilivion.

If you want, you can go back to Megaton and someone will find you and ask you not to turn the android in. They'll give you the stuff to make it seem like the android died and you'll get good karma, but other then that (meaning if you want bad Karma and turn the android in), I have no idea.

From the sheer number of posts I believe I'm the only one that's not really enjoying Fallout 3. This whole time I've been just wanting to play Oblivion. Is anyone else getting that sensation? Granted, the combat is very much improved over Oblivions swing until you're all sweaty, throw fireballs until you've made your character retarded, shoot arrows till your arm can lift your bow technique.

Right now Riley's Rangers are offering me caps to find a location and bring them back the coordinate(so basically just find one and go back and talk to the leader) and thats it. The first time I accepted it and talked to her about it I got 900 caps from all the locations I found before I found out about it

Basically you can keep getting radiation until hits a certain level, then it lowers your strength and agility I think. So you can carry less and walk slower and I believe you also take a very slow amount of constant damage.

To my knoweldge there is no way to cure it for free, but I have a shit ton of Rad-X on me, that I never paid for. It seems to be all over the place, just be careful with it, and don't ever use it until it tells you have radiation sickness.

Keep any Pre-War Books you find. There's a person in Arlington Library that will take them for 100 caps each. There's something like 98 in the game total. If you're looking for the place, you can find it west of the potomic at the very bottom of the map just a little ways from the river. I came in from the west side, but I think you can get around from the east side.

Outside of that, I did a lot of quests where I used speech to often double my reward. Usually these quests would cause me to have assloads of ammo/armor eventually (I have 2k Assault Rifle Ammo right now for example) which left my money wide open for whatever I want. Spent 1,700 at Paradise Falls since I'm of good karma and I still have like 5k caps left. Granted I'm level 18 as well. (Not to mention a large ass stockpile of items in my house)

I found about five pre-war books in the library as well. I also had a few on me already, quickest 1500 bottle caps I've made so far.

Is it me or this game starts out pretty slow once you enter the mega whatever its called place as soon as you exit the vault. I have no idea what do in the city. Like it guides you like crap Oblivion was way more simple to understand.I have no idea who find everyone wants money and i have no exp to do anything. I keep thinking making wrong choices I am not even sure what mission to start out with. In Oblivion you like start off on main story at least like my first quest I feel I am on a side quest so weird. For people who think this is better then Oblivion I really don't agree at this moment, it started out really good, but at this moment I am not really sold. Also it feels like an open world FPS so far.

I do have quest, but stupid things don't explain how to gain power to blow up the atomic bomb, how do i fix pipes doesn't explain just says not strong enough on everything. Then why the hell they tell me to do it? It is like nothing going everywhere and the people have 4000 things to say and they have nothing interesting that grasp attention. I dunno I think Oblivion is way better then this so far although I only put 4 hours or so into this so far I would assume it to get better.

It's pretty fun to watch the merc getting killed by two mirelocks that I aggravated. I just come in and finish everything else off.

Is there an effective way to kill Super Mutants? I ran into one when I was looking for the Family, and I used up all my assault rifle ammo to get the mutant.

Also, where can I obtain a shotgun? It doesn't feel right wondering around the wasteland without a shotgun.

Well I beat the game earlier today. My Character was level 20 with like 3k caps, 150 stim packs left and my character was good. He can take anyone or anything in the wastes. The way I make money is to find Enclave Soldiers and kill them, then repair there armor and sell it. I racked in a huge amount of caps that way. Gonna play through it again eventually as neutral and evil. But this game was so awesome. It's fun taking on a whole squad of Enclaves soldiers by myself and just utterly destroying them. But the game itself was soooo much fun. I saved right before the end so I could level up more and explore the rest of the map. My opinion about the ending is that it was mediocre, they could have made it better .

Ya Two shots to the head with a combat shotgun almost always does the trick for me. Either that or an assault rifle to the head. I actually rush up them and take the damage they deal out. That way I can get quick kills and cash in on their armor and weapons because I always carry a large stash of stimpacks with me at all times so I don't have to worry about taking too much damage. Man I love this game.

I hit level 20 today and saved right before I did, so I decided to take a quick dummy perk to explore the entire map. Here's a pieced together map with all the marked locations:

It's rather large and parts are crooked/broken, but you only have the pipboy 3000 to blame for using a rounded CRT display. :P

You find the schematics randomly for each different weapon and have to find a workbench to craft it. It relies on your repair skill. The workbench looks like a vice and they are scattered throughout cities/areas in the game.

I believe you talk to the person outside the Citadel to get trained for the Power Armor. I'll recheck tomorrow just to make sure.

As for increasing the amount of weight you can hold, you can upgrade your Strength S.P.E.C.I.A.L. attribute and get the Strong Back Perk at level 8 to allow you to carry 50 more pounds.

Alright, thanks (let me know if it's somewhere different when you check tomorrow). That kind of sucks about those being the ways to increase it. I remember in the second Fallout using the Power Armor would increase how much you could hold. I was kinda hoping for the same with this.

Thanks, I found it, I didn't realize I had to go so far to the south-west before making the turn east into the Library. Usually don't have to go that far out of my way and I was worried I would have to explore a bunch of subway tunnels to find the right one.

One thing that is completely different than Oblivion but kind of the same with Fallout series is the buying and selling. I got to the point where I'd raid a lot of dungeons in Oblivion and trade all of my stuff in for money and have tons of it, whereas in this I have to trade it towards something I want or if I trade it for caps there is a real set amount the trader has. Example: If I trade something for 23 caps and she only has 25, she is only gonna have 2 if I try and trade with her again. WHile she will get more caps after X amount of time, it eliminates the easy unloading of stuff to certain NPC's as it is in Oblivion. I was hoping to take advantage of that right away, but no go obviously.

Well, the past Elder Scrolls games did do this, (Morrowind did at least). It's a better system I think as it prevents you from becoming rich as balls and just throwing money at every problem you get to in the game. I have played for 10+ hours and I only have like 800 caps, and I am quite frugal!

Alright is the music on Galaxy News Radio supposed to sound choppy or sound like its stuttering.

Three Dog sounds perfectly clear, but the music sounds all choppy. I was wondering if this was a filter or not because my game has been freezing everytime I load my save file now. It might just be freezing in Mr. Wilks' house, but I don't know since I am trying to search the house. Anyway when the game freezes, I have to Alt-Tab out of the game and end it manually. When I do that the music sounds perfect.

So I was wondering if that choppiness/stuttering is a sound filter or is this a problem directly tied to the PC version.

The radio does get choppy if you get near another radio device that's on in the vicinity.

Did you already travel through the subway?

You have to take the subway tunnels, I think.

I'm not positive, but there might be two different exits to that subway. I remember trying to choose between two different paths at one point and worrying if I chose the right one. I exited into the middle of a battle between some super mutants and the brotherhood of steel, who then took me to GNR.

I've played a bit of Fallout 3, and I'm not sure it's my type of game. I'm currently selling it on my TL if anyoen is interested (sorry to threadcrap). I'd rather have the money for other games this holiday gaming season.

A notice to everybody, I'm reading about a lot of confirmed bugs in this game, and I mean a lot. There are even a few instances where talking to certain people will end a quest, permanently blocking off entire sections of the map and disabling achievements. I recommend everyone keep a few separate saves and keep your eyes open for any quests ending suspiciously. Hopefully there will be a patch soon...

I haven't had any, as far as I know. Although I still wonder if (regarding Megaton and Simms) the sheriff was meant to die. I told him about Burke and killed Burke before he was able to off him. It kind of felt like a bug since he doesn't even say anything about it.

Yeah it's very easy to get to.

Take the Farragut Metro. You can't miss where you need to go because when it splits it has "TO GNR OUTPOST" scratched onto the wall. Once you get there, you'll run into BoS guys and everything else is straight forward and linear.

Very interesting... because when I killed him I got Good Karma and someone shouted "About damn time!" so they were pretty happy about it.

Also regarding Moriarty, if you hack the computer instead of talking to him you miss out on some details. I first talked to him and then he wanted 300 caps or whatever so I loaded my save and went and hacked his computer instead of talking to him. After hacking his computer, you can't mention your dad to him because the quest to find where he is at is then completed. You miss out on some interesting details about your father and the vault, I wouldn't of known otherwise if I hadn't talked to him first and then reloaded.

I have a question about Paradise Falls: I'm doing the quest where I need to rescue the 2 kids in order to get into the Caverns......The one kid tells me to either access the computer or repair some cables, and both options I can't do due to my skills being too low for both. What else can I do to rescue the kids (besides just killing everyone), or am I SOL?

How does an entire section of the map get blocked off? I'm unaware of something as big as that happening considering how open the world is. I can't think of a single instance in the game that would cause something like that outside of a time constraint based on your advancement in the main quest which isn't a bug I believe. The quest in question is called, "Trouble on the Home Front".

Also I know it's possible to skip "Following in his Footsteps" if you talk to Dr. Li before going to GNR Radio in the main quest, but you should be able to go back there and talk to Three Dog for the achievement regardless.

I know there are a quite a few bugs and I do know some strange things will happen if you do some things in a strange way. Sometimes they're difficult to figure out how to complete. Most of the quests I did compensated for weird happenings or quests interfering with other quests for the most part. I wonder if the PC version has all the same bugs or not?

What I did was pay to get into Paradise Falls (500 Caps) and then I talked to Eugene about selling me the kids. He wants 2,000 caps for all three kids, but you can speech him down to 1,200 caps. Which is what I did.

Haha I was reading yall talking about glitches and stuff and I was about to post this same thing. It happened to me because I was doing things out of order and talked to Li and it pops up quest completed. Got scared I had missed doing the quest and loaded my previous save just to be safe.

Fuck. I hit the bug in the Blood Ties quest, making it impossible to complete. Looks like I'm going to have to load up an old save and try again if I want to get the achievement. This is the second major quest bug I've run into...:-?

A warning to anybody who hasn't done the Blood Ties quest yet, if you're going to go in guns blazing, KILL ALL OF THE "VAMPIRES" BEFORE TALKING TO IAN!!! If you don't, there's a bug that makes the citizens of Arefu consider you hostile and you will fail the quest, making it impossible to get the achievement.

Um...you killed them? They won't shoot you unless you shoot them first. Wound up getting some perks by talking to them.

The radio does get choppy if you get near another radio device that's on in the vicinity.

If it's not that, then yeah, I don't know. I never had a problem with the PC version outside of being close to an active radio.

No that was not it. I figured out how to fix it though. I was searching through Bethesda's forums and I found a solution. I don't know why or how it works, but it worked.

I downloaded AC3 Filter and in the system tab I changed the Default Audio Renderer to "Use Wave out by default."

I booted the game back up and no more radio stuttering. Yay!

I put my experience into small guns, medication and lock-picking.

Things have been working pretty well.

Putting some points into bartering is a good idea too.

Putting skills in lock-picking is very handy. I'd recommend lock-picking with whatever else you want to focus on. I personally have invested a lot of points and perks into speech, lock-picking, hacking, and small guns.

My skills are probably a bit redundant, but I didn't want to miss anything. I'm going for all side quests I can complete by being good. And then I'll play as a bad guy using different skills... maybe more combat oriented since I'm gonna be killin' a lot of fools.

I am loving this game. Typically I would be outraged at the number of bugs and glitches I've encountered, but somehow with Bethesda games, the bugs are so totally entertaining it almost adds more charm to the game. For example:
- Every time I quick travel to the Super Duper Mart, a body falls from the sky. I think it is suppose to be a corpse strung up on a chain outside the store door, but every time the location loads it drops from the sky and twitches on the ground.
- After completing Those! quest and going to exiting the metro, some how Dogmeat's eyeball and tongue geometry got stretch to where each eyeball and mouth were spikes extending several feet out of his face. It looked so disgusting I had to run ahead of him and avoid battles so I wouldn't have to see it. Luckily once exiting the area and reloading the Wasteland Overworld it was corrected.
- While traveling through metro to GNR a feral mutant spawned inside a row of lockers. Dogmeat kept barking at it as if it were an actual threat. I gave up trying to kill it and wandered ahead, only to realize that my dog wasn't with me. Traveled back just in time to see the dog finally somehow kill it. It had to have been at least 5 minutes that the dog was attacking hands and half a forehead of the ghoul that could be seen.

Only bug I've ran into that I caused me to reload an old save was with the Big Trouble in Big Town Quest. After rescuing residents from the Super Mutant and returning to town, I chose to use Intelligence option to teach residence how to repair robot for protection. Only issue was Robot 'corpse' did not load. Everyone in town just gathered around an empty field and said things like " I'm watching" and "We're ready when you are." Appears to be a common issue so choose another option until it is patched. Consider yourself warned.

Can anyone tell me what is up with Stefan? He's the feral ghoul in the bicycle building. I can't hack the computers and I don't have a guide so I have no idea if there is a reason behind his power or anything special. I just wandered in the building and killed everything.

That's weird. That is the sequence that is suppose to occur when you use the Small Arms interaction by teaching them how to shoot properly.

Lots of minor and some major glitches in the game, but with Fallout being so gigantic in scope, I think it's pretty understandable to have some of these problems pass through the cracks. Besides, Bethesda should be able to pump out patches for the more game breaking bugs.

Small Arms is what I chose after reloading and it worked fine. Probably should have just chose to fight the threat straight out rather then messing with either option seeing as how underwhelming it turned out to be.

Totally agree about the patches. I am so enjoying everything in the game, these quirks are just a fun footnote.

Isn't that the only three you need to get the keys from? Crowley asked for Tenpenny to be assassinated too but I did the Tenpenny Tower quest (convinced the tenants to let the ghouls in) before I got to Underworld so he was already dead by the time I talked to him.

I'll turn in the You Gotta Shoot 'Em In The Head quest and see what will happen next.

It depends. Did you blow up Megaton or save it? If you blew it up, I'd suggest you kill the leader of the ghouls wanting to get into Tenpenny Tower so your suite in the top floor does not get compromised. You get bad karma for this act though. If you saved Megaton however, you can either kill the ghouls like before or convince the tenants to let them in, the latter landing you some good karma.

You'll have to battle your way through the tunnel leading to the ghoul leader for both circumstances anyway since the place is packed with feral ghouls. The glowing ones are a bitch to kill and scary as fuck when they charge at you :-#.

Also, it seems that the 4th key for Fort Constantine is from a corpse inside the Fort itself.

There is a subway entrance to the west of the tower. This leads to the ghoul leader. The name of it escapes me at the moment though.
