360 USB Ports [Post in XBOX360 FAQ's thread]

If I were to get some cheapass USB speakers, would they be compatible with the 360's software? I'm looking to use my PC's lcd monitor for display, and have no easy sound solution as of yet.

That doesn't sound like it world work. Just get some computer speakers, or if you have a stereo with the AV audio ports on them that will work too.

It will not work. You can simply get regular PC speakers and one of these:

USB-powered speakers will work just fine, as long as the they have a regular plug for the audio input.

That type of connector comes with the VGA cable which I'm sure he will be using, along with a female/female VGA extender/converter.
