OK, well after several phonecalls and nasty emails, it looks as if it got shipped after all, and today. According to amazon.com, it was shipped today, about 30min ago, and should be delivered in 3-5 days. So, not bad. I hope I end up getting what I ordered and it indeed is what I was told.
What I was told I was going to get was:
Xbox 360 Halo 3 Edition
I was also told that it will have the full manufactures' warranty, so rrod. And that the item itself was not tampered with, it is not a used item as listed, but only a damaged box item.
So if I don't get this, I was told I could return for a full refund and free return shipping. And I will send it back if it doesn't meed my expectations.
I'll update when I get it...
I just ordered the 360 halo edition, damaged box, warranty, untampered.... for $278-30 amazon student visa. So $248.. Well the super saver shipping for that item was well over a week and my expected recieve date was too long, so I decided to change shipping to standard and it was only 4 dollars so I said why not. What I did not notice is that the expected date went up, way up. Nearly a month to June 19-23. So...WTF. I called them up and the guy said it was because when you change your shipping you go to the back of the line. How is that possible, there was only one of the thing I ordered and the site says sold out now. So unless someone ordered it at the exact same moment... didn't happen. I ordered it first if someone did order it somehow... I am hoping that I just messed up my own order and that I am behind, myself in line.
Has this happened to anyone else? I am very confused.
And if someone else is getting the item now. How the hell can you sell 2 of an item that only existed as one. And how can you go to the back of the line, just for changing your shipping option. The whole idea of that, is to get it faster, not pay more just so you can wait an extra month. They better fix this shit...
What may have happened is that there were two items on the warehouse store. One was an open box item, listed at $350 and then the one I ordered, which was $315. Maybe the guy doing the orders grabed the wrong one and now the one I ordered is missing... IDK, I'm just trying to rationalize this shit out...
