apparently it's sum stupid internet joke made up by ppl on internet forums who have very uninteresting lives and need these humorous things for excitement...

seriously, I'm on the internet all the time... how come I never knew about this?!?!

the website is also an anti-scientology thing?? The phone numbers to call are randomly generated from a list of Scientology centers... I think it's more of a joke rather than a true attack on the church...

anyway I'm kinda mad coz Battletoads is one of the greatest games ever and a bunch of kids decided to do sum stupid shyt with its name...

but I'm kinda amused too jus coz the trailer is funny.

That last YouTube video was just a waste of time. I can't believe that people are that bored that they feel inclined to call up a business and start berating the person on the other end. I hope the original caller gets his ass beat down.

Apparently this has been going on for a while now, but it is hitting hard right now in the Dallas area. Being a store manager of a Gamestop, I get the brunt of it. I have learned to either hang up immediately or when I'm feeling in a good mood, tell them yes. It is so funny when the kid is like "What...really?" My response is "Yeah, it was just announced with a street date of 9/2 on the 360 and PS3 with all new visuals and online co-op and Vs. mode, and that they are remaking the original for psp and ds with an online co-op."

Most of the time they just hang up on me, but I have gotten one guy that was really interested in it after I said that, with him asking "Are you serious?" and thats when I said "No, but it sounds cool doesn't it?", following it up by me hanging up.

God that was fun... I wish I could of recorded it...

What sucks is that they took the 3D vids from some poor guy's portfolio and didn't give him any credit.

You guys should at least check it out, he's been making these for a while. Its sad that this is how they get abused.
