I snagged 2 yesterday (1 for me, 1 for my brother) Hopefully they are good and in good condition. I can never seem to get the Bluetooth headset to work right or stay connected. Total for 2 shipped was $12.98, pritty good deal IMO.

Just a message to all the naysayers (and whiners) - and keep in mind we don't typically respond to bad posts since we encourage all forms of comments and rarely censor - there's a wealth of items that have come up the past 4 days, espeically after midnight during the wee hours. Secondly, this is our first time doing this type of sale, and we are still working out some kinks. Kinks as in items reappearing for the second time that shouldn't, and items that aren't even making it to the site that should. Items that are priced wrong, or too high, and items that are priced too low (no complaints there I bet!)

We took a very aggressive approach to the whole thing by selling a new item every 10 minutes and selling a new item when something sells out. Again, kinks are being worked on with this format, so chill out and have a glass of vino.

Anyway, hopefully this has shed some light on the ADSD and its intricacies therein. If not, well, sorry!

I feel ya. I was up till 1am, even though I had to be up at 7 for an 8am class. Those points were killing me by not coming up again.
I did pick up the 160gb hard drive, a 50ft. ethernet cable, and a rock band microphone. All pretty good deals, I think.

They had some pretty decent deals during the run, although they were right about some stuff being priced too high/low: it seems like most of the items were either so ridiculously low priced that they sold out in seconds or such a minor discount (or just plain unwanted items) that they kept coming back again and again for a full 10 minute countdown each time. Overall a fun sale...although having a sale like this run continuously for days on end did a number on people's sleep schedules.

I missed out on most of the stuff I really wanted, although I did manage to snag a few Wii Nunchuks, Rock Band (game only) for 360, and a PS2 memory card adaptor for the PS3. Would've liked some MS points and 360 controllers, but oh well, maybe next time. Now I'm wishing I got that Rock Band mic though...hopefully they put some of the extra items they have left over in the store.

I got the $45.99 Xbox wireless networking adapter (annoyed they dropped the price to $35.99, but then back at $49.99??) and the DS Action Replay, but I don't think I really needed that. Oops. (I thought it let you back up saves but it doesn't appear it does, and good ol' "gotta rush though this!!" meant I didn't have too much time to look) At least it was only $8 shipped.

Bummed I missed out on all of the points-- I never even SAW them, much less had the chance to buy! And it sounds like they may not price them so cheap again. good job to those that got them, but wow.

The $229 Xbox premium must've been pretty good, although I'm not sure of the specifics (if it was "used" it might not have been a good deal-- if it was RRoD, banned from Live, etc). The $299 Xbox new in damaged box probably was a good deal.

Overall, A for effort, B- for execution. It was too tough to keep up with, though, although in a way that made it MORE fair... no decent trackers (that I ever found) meant you had to really be on the ball when a deal came up... as long as my wireless adapter works, I'll be happy. (I had heard of Stootsi before but never had an account, so this is a good test..)

Wootlayzer wasn't working for this... at least not for me. It seemed to only update once every few hours. (Stootsi's normal update cycle?)

I got my 4000 points card today and it is lame. The code's been scratched off, and I can't even tell if it's been used because half of the codes gone. I'm trying to figure out if there is some way to see the codes imprint.

This is fucking lame, I bought 2 of these 4000MS Points cards, and both of them have the codes scratched off, beyond recognition. One isn't TOO bad, I could decipher it probably if I tried hard enough, but this is ridiculous. Some heads are going to roll for this one.



Edit: I was able to salvage one of the cards, no way I'm going to be able to decipher the other one. Just emailed Stootsi, we'll see where this goes, but my guess is a refund.

Got my 4000 MS point card as well today. Box opened and code already scratched off. You can't even enter the code because 1/5th of it is gone. When I say gone, I mean, the letters/numbers aren't there. Looks ike someone scratched too hard and took them right off. Definatly emailing them for a refund, unacceptable, even for an open box item.

That's too bad about the codes. Even so if you can decipher the code it's still a hell of a deal. If not, and Stootsi honors their policy, you get a full refund including shipping. I'd say it's still worth the effort.
I received both my items yesterday. The memory card was a returned to BB. The original packaging was cut all to hell but it works fine. The Halo 3 controller was just in an mailer envelope inside a box and won't connect to the console. I contacted Stootsi and already got a RMA#. They email a pre-paid shipping label for UPS. I'll reserve my opinion until everything is settled. I hope that's before something else I want comes up for sale on Stootsi!

I got my 360 20 gig hard drive and Halo 3 McFarlane controller today.

Both are broken...hard drive causes a lower-right red ring and one of the sticks on the controller is busted.

My Xbox 360 20gb order came in yesterday and *so far* so good. The box looked like it had been attacked by an animal, and I was surprised it didn't completely fall apart when I opened it. However, everything inside was wrapped up, even though I had the distinct feeling it had all been re-wrapped. Still, everything works fine so far. But I definitely need to fill out and send in that card for the extended two year warranty for $60 since I can almost just "feel" like this will be one of those many 360s that will red ring at some point in its life. Nonetheless, it's a very interesting system so far.

Wow. I must've gotten really lucky.

I got my Xbox Live Vision camera and Action Replay for the PS2, and both are basically like new condition. The plastic packaging was already broken on both items. The Xbox Live Vision was unused. The cords are all wrapped and the 1 month Xbox Live subscription code went through! I tested the camera on my MacBook Pro (I'm at school and away from my Xbox), and it works perfectly well. Unless the original owner was stealing the Uno code, I think the Uno code will work, too!

The Action Replay came with a 16 MB memory card (which is going straight to GameStop), and the disc was still sealed! I think I got unused open items.

Good luck to you all. Unfortunate to hear the Xbox points cards were trash.

My stuff came in awesome condition. I was really impressed. I got "open box" blue 360 controller battery and Guitar Hero III and while the battery looked like a return it hadn't been opened (I'm charging that now so I can't be sure it works until it's done), but Guitar Hero III was still sealed with only part of the shrinkwrap missing and the sticker still on it, so I basically got that brand new. So if the battery isn't somehow messed up I got a new blue battery for $5 and a new GHIII for $23.

That sucks about the cards, but if you were able to decipher a code that's a hell of a deal and I hope the others get their refunds. (And if I were you I'd still try to decipher it if only a few letters are missing :-P)

Yea, but deciphering the code will take a while... just think of how many combinations there are. 10 numbers and 26 letters per character. 36 possibilites for 1, and I don't even want to calculate how many possibilities for 5 characters (the amount I'm missing) or even the entire code! (25 characters). Then entering them in manually.... I'd be looking at a few hours, possibly days, of work, obviously dependent on if I get luck and the code pops early. Not worth it in my book.

I'll take my money back.

Edit: Using permutations (because order matters) I calculated 45,239,040 ways for 5 characters and 9.3192 * 10^(33) ways for 25 characters

I got my 3 x 1600 point cards today - completely unusable, the best one is only missing 10 characters in the code - no way I'll ever get even that one.
Now the Rock Band sticks that I got the other day were in excellent shape (save the packaging), but I don't think I'll ever bother with M$ points cards again.

Got my Halo controller. It seems to work fine so far. It's the Spartan one, not the Brute as advertised (but I don't mind, I like that one better anyway). It's like new, with the battery compartment sticker still on.

Sorry to those who got the cards. Still it's nice that returns were handled so appropriately.
