My advice is to stick to non-commecial games. Like I brought a golf game that plays and is a regular golf game but the cover and etc figures is what made me brought it.

Just go threw the list and find all the well known games and then narrow it down to stuff you don't know.


Pokemon.

We can allways live and hope nintendo starts promoting it's original games with net support on the GCN. Like Hell I will buy a Wii just to play pokemon. There is also add-on devices like the Hey-you-pikachu leg shaker to get items but that is completely worthless if you have a AR or brainboy.

Here's a few lesser known games you NEED to play:

-Mario's Picross 1 & 2 (2 is Japan-only)
-Pokemon Puzzle League (best handheld version of Tetris Attack)
-Shantae (great 2D platformer)
-Revenge of the Gator (BEST PINBALL GAME EVER. EVER!)
-Wario Blast (a strange mash-up of Wario and Bomberman)

They're not for everyone, but I like the Game & Watch Gallery collections, especially the first one. These are collections of the old, simple but fun Nintendo Game & Watch Gallery games. Each collection has the original versions along with enhanced/mario-ized versions. The first collection has the best set of games IMHO. Note that if you are expecting deep games you aren't going to find them here. The rules and mechanics of the games are simple and straight forward and you are just going for high scores/to last as long as you can. They're great, occasional time killers.

Any of the Kirby titles... I played Kirby 2 to death. The first Pokemon games are damn fun too.

Metal Gear Solid and Shantae must plays for the GBC. But these GBC games are fairly hard to track down. I wish I bought Shantae back in the day...:-(

You should go back and buy it! IGN gave it a perfect 10 and it is definitely worth that rating. It is a great game!

If that used store was a gamestop, just know that copy is only 5 dollars.

The final fantasy series, including tactics, as well as the pokemon series are the ones I find myself playing the most, along with Warioware. Besides the mario and zeldas.
