If you just need the wheel, grab the Driving Force GT for $30 more. But for both, that's a steal.

Does anyone know how the Logitech Driving Force Pro wheel works on the PS3? i.e. do you have to buy additional converter/adapter or you can just use it with GT5 straight out of the box?

works with ps2/ps3/pc.. great buy if u really want a wheel. im just the messenger. im personally not getting it because i still believe gt5p is a rip off and the steer wheel is for someone more hardcore with video games.

if i really want to drive ill get in my car.

Driving's one thing, but driving hard and racing can get really expensive really quick - at least more expensive than paying ~$100 for this bundle. Not a bad deal at all.

You have a Ferrari and a race track that you can go to race against your friends? You're a lucky guy! ;)

I personally am very tempted by the deal. It seems most places sell the wheel for $90 to $100. So you're getting the game for free practically. Plus I have a $10 gift card waiting for me from when walmart had all of those preorder price mix ups. So I could get the game and the wheel for $90. I've always wanted a good wheel. It seems that these are pretty well liked too.

What are people attaching these wheels to? I don't really have a table in my gaming area that I could attach it to. Are there any cheap ways of doing that are common ways of getting around this? Sorry for the newb question, I'm not a hard core racer, but I would really love to get a wheel. Will this work with Motorstorm?

Edit: hmm this doesn't work with Motorstorm or Burnout Paradise?!? Shit. At least they're not listed as supporting this on WalMart's website. Does anyone know why?

Might want to change the topic title to waLmart.com--although Warmart would be the coolest store ever.

You should consider buying a small inexpensive table from Walmart or Ikea. I own the wheel, but only use it for GT4. Both the force feedback and how far the wheel can rotate are excellent. The only downsides to the wheel are that there is no clutch and the shift knob can only move up and down. Logitech fixed that with their newer G25 wheel, but it costs 3x more.

If you're really into racing, consider something like one of these. http://www.playseats.com/
I own one and they greatly enhance the experience.

This is a good deal. I was actually considering to pick it up this weekend, play some new games while waiting for GTA4.

The wheel makes the deal even sweeter. For those looking for a table of some sort, The TV tray table that fold are a good alernative. I use that with my wireless 360 wheel.

I have the DFEX and DFP, both wheels are a blast especially split-screen with friends on GT5P.

i would go for the g25 not the dfp the dfp worked for the gt4 but come on the features on the g25 that work with gt5p are what you should wanna have

CocheseUGA

I can say the DFP works flawlessly with GT5P, it's even able to program the buttons in-game. In fact, it has support for every DF-series wheel that I can tell.

The G25 is something awesome, but not for $300 MSRP. I know you could find it for around $240, but that's still too much to consider.

For a wheel setup, consider finding a floor rocker ($10 - Target clearance) and attach the wheel to your coffee table. Not the best way, but certainly the cheapest. TV trays are to flimsy and tall.

The EX combo was available the entire time, it's just an inferior wheel (much cheaper, as well, at $59.72). The deal is still dead, and they are listing the Pro (wheel only) for $150 now (not available online).

Now that I know that I can use the Logitech G25, no thank you to the Driving Force Pro. Jeff said (on another Web site) that the clutch works digitally though.

If the Logitech G25 works perfectly in the future, they should advertise that instead of the Logitech Driving Force Pro. Full analog clutch and 6 speed? This will set it apart among other console racers, but not PC racers. I will buy that instead of the Driving Force Pro so that I can use it for my PC games as well.
