They could send you open box batteries for your Xbox 360 wireless controller. That still counts as an accessory

Anyway, it costs $9.99 + $4.99 shipping. At least that is what is says when I click on the link.

pennies on the dollar could mean 90 pennies on the dollar (10% off)
I'm tempted to give this a try just because it would be nice to score a Wireless Adaptor or controller for $15, but at the same time it could be something like a junk 3rd party battery pack. What is the company like as far as reputation goes? Couldn't find their entry on reseller ratings.

There's actually a game trading place that opened around me that sells the batteries in the plastic pack in the accessories section.

Maybe I'm getting old and crotchety in my old (29) age. However, I can't see anyone selling anything as a "Mystery Box" for $10 if they thought they could get $10 for it if they showed you. This isn't "Let's Make a Deal" (old tv show where mystery boxes could have fabulous prizes.
So, they aren't giving you anything great, or they'd advertise it. This is likely something that costs $15 that you wouldn't spend $10 on if you saw it.
I'd suggest everyone pass, but that's just me.

On woot when they have their bag of crap (mystery box basically) for $1 and you buy 3 of them for $8 shipped. I've gotten 5 of them so far and every time I have gotten more than my money's worth.

I'm the one who quoted Family Guy and one person responded to me, so how is that a bunch of Family Guy stuff? Yeah, UHF is a great movie, but I haven't seen it nearly as recently as the good seasons of Family Guy (1-3).
Still, my email addy used to be "suppliesx at..." which was based on the character that you are quoting. :)

Seasons 1-3 are completely different than all Family Guy which comes thereafter. One little example of this is that the old shows had "non-sequiter" scenes that parodied existing shows or movies, while every following season simply has non-sequiter scenes that APE the original source material instead of parodying it.
"Oh! They're showing a scene from Raiders of the Lost Ark! That's funny!"...
No it isn't. If you make fun of it in some way, then it's funny. Big difference.

Well, its actually a Wii kit now...and it doesn't look to bad for $15. You get a hat, two controller gloves (useless), stand/organizer, a year of Gamepro, and a Gamefly trial.
If it wasn't a really tight month, I'd go for it.

Ah, gotcha. The combination of those two words seems pretty unique, which is why I thought having to replace a letter with a number was odd. Nothing wrong with keeping your username consistent. :)

I got it today. They sent (all best buy open box from the look of it) VGA cable , intercooler EX, and a plantronics x30 headset (I have one but it broke so I happy to have another). I hope they have another gaming mystery box soon.

An open box x30 headset on amazon is about $12 with $4 shipping. I think you got a pretty good deal!

Wow, that actually ended up being a pretty good deal for you. Avoid the Intercooler, though, obviously, unless the EX stands "this will won't destroy your console" version.
