First off, where did you find these?

Second off, when you say Playstation controller, are you referencing PS1...PS2...or PS3 controllers?

PS3 controllers can be plugged into a PS3 via usb and be used. Also, PSX usually stands for Playstation 1 so I would assume that it is that.

well you can use a ps2 controller on a ps1, so I assume this works on them as well.

Where can i find more info about that psx to usb adapter? i bought one when it was on clearance a long while ago but i need a 2nd one for my ps3. as far as i know, they were discontinued. i asked an employee about it and he said all their products are listed on their website but that adapter is no longer listed, fo me at least. so if they still carry them then it is extreme YMMV

GTA-IV special is something that rings up with the purchase of the game. Most employees won't realize it until they ring it up.

Nintendo DS Bundle is here http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2977324&cp

PSX to USB adapter is SKU 260-0729. It's not YMMV as the SKU still exists and we have atleast 10 in my store alone, but it is getting scarce as there's still only around 300 in the whole country. For that price, it's a steal.

How did you hear about this deal then? It's not going to be advertised?

It might be in next week's flyer. I just had to look up the release date for it for a customer and noticed that sale.

if you happen to have the Entertainment Book that has all the coupons for tons of stores, there are 2 coupons for Radioshack in there that are good on most things in the store, including games, it is a 10 off 50 or more coupon. I dunno if they would let you use it to get GTA IV and still get the gift card. The coupon says not good with other offers, but with Radioshack I would say it depends who you get to ring you up.

It WOULD work in the POS system but there's been company memos about how video games are one of the exclusions on the coupon.

I may have to check out that special for GTA IV. I only have $5 at Gamestop just for a backup, but would rather go to RS if that deal is true.

same here, I'm pissed they aren't offering any deals on this game at Gamestop... I'll be picking it up at RS if this deal is true.

Seems like Radioshack screwed up at the POS(i think that means point of sale) computers.. the game rings up at 49.99 and the gift card rings up free. The lady infront of me managed to get a newish employee and she got the game for 49.99 plus tax /w free giftcard.. I went next, pulled out my entertainment coupon.. but it wouldn't go thru so the kid called over a "manager" and he said he would take the 10 off with the coupon, but I had to get around 10 bucks worth of batteries instead of the gift card.. bottom line is that I got the game for 54 bucks with about 16 AAA batteries.. NICE..

Again, they did take the coupon, but I think this is YMMV. Before I went, I had my wife go to another Radioshack and try using the Entertainment Book Coupon but she got confused telling her she had to get batteries.. she thought it was a scam.. it was a bronx, NY ghetto radioshack, LOL.. So I thought I would give it a try any way.
