Amazon Gold Box Thread

I'm wondering if this is worth it to post, how exactly amazon determines the system and if it is possible to recreate gold box deals the same day they are happening.

Anyway, in the last week or so, I have seen as gold box items -5%:

arcana heart
(today) persona 3 fes

I think something messed up on Amazon today for me. Isn't the quick picks supposed to be stuff from your recommendations? My recommendations are nothing but games, DVDs, and comics. Today my quick picks include such beauties as a cordless lawn care center, water filters, a leaf blower, and a router (the kind you use on wood). The only two games are Touch the Dead ($28.50) and Jeanne D'arc ($19). I don't know why I even bother checking each day though. I've never seen anything in there that is actually low enough for me to purchase it.

Yes, and then if you really want to increase your odds mark all of the other games in your recommendations list as Not Interested, or at least do that to the ones you really have no interest in.
