Wait for the Deepdiscount sale next month as well, 20% off the entire stock of DVDs/BR/HD-DVD.

You won't see BOGO's anymore, now that the format war is dead. B2G1's are about as good as it gets at the moment from some retailers, and if you play your cards right, you might get close to your $15/disc price.
DD's 20% off sale is another option, though sometimes, they seem to jack up the price by a few bucks before putting them on sale.

We have this magical thing called a calendar.
Seriously though, it's an annual thing.

Why would you get rid of all your dvds?
The sale takes place in June and November. Usually around the middle of those months.

I'm not trying to be a dick to the OP here, but after seeing this "wish list" of films, I kind of doubt that the OP had a lot of DVDs in the first place.

I only had like 15 dvd's...
Explains why you only want 15 blu-rays.

There prices aren't that hot with the sale when buying BDs. They mark everything up. In the end amazon is cheaper. Plus you don't need to wait 4 weeks for 3 movies.

I second. Why would get rid of all your DVD's?
Because Blu-Ray is the future and DVD's will disappear as a format overnight, of course.
Seriously though, why did the OP get rid of their movies? I doubt any of us will ever know, since the PS3 DOES play DVDs as well as someone else pointed out.
As for me, I've been downsizing my meager collection from 20+ movies to 4-7 now. WHY? Because the other movies were ones I've seen and hadn't watched in a while and figured they were cluttering up the house. So, they went away since I have no need for a big movie collection for 'bragging rights'. Why again? Because I go over my friends houses and they have rarely(if ever) come here to watch movies or play games or just hang out.
