Yep, I got a letter too. Frankly, I was hoping that they'd have a Pikmin 2 deal instead, but oh well. I'l order one of these bundles soon. WHich do you all suggest? I had Red when I was younger, but I always picked the BUlbasaur (I stopped with Pokemon at Red/Blue).

Read the original message. It says fire red OR leaf green.
Oh, I also got the letter.

I'd rather they drop the NP subscription and other fluff and give me both games at that price.

Actually it is not that great of a deal.
Retail Price
Pokemon Fire Red and Leaf Green : $35
Nintendo Power Subscription : $20
=$55
Guide : $15
Headphone : Around $5-10
Other than the cheap headphone, the only thing you actually get is the guide. But you can get a free guide (Go to Nintendopower website they have ton of gifts for you to choose if you subscribe) or any other gifts (like game soundtracks, many guides, t-shirt, toys) everytime you subscribe to Nintendo Power, so you don't have to force yourself to get the Pokemon Guide on this deal.
As for the game, I bet you can get it cheaper than 35 dollars when it releases.

Game: $35
Guide: $15
Headphones and NP Subscription: $20
That last one is true, if you're basing there prices on how much Nintendo actually charges for this stuff. I need new headphones anyways as my Nintendo Power Advance ones recently stopped working in one ear :/

It's nintendofangirl, does she ever post a deal that's not completely obvious?

The reason I dont consider this a great deal is because nintendo power is worth damn near nothing.

Just wondering: do you have to preorder the game in order to get the wireless adapter included, or will the wireless adapter be included with all FireRed and LeafGreen games when it's released? Also, anyone know if Nintendo plans on selling the wireless adapter separately?

This Sunday Target have Dual Master (GBA) on sale $16.88 (around 45% off). So, take advantage 45% off Rain Check then Subsitution for Red/Grean both around $35 after Taxes :)

All copies will have wireless adapters, and the adapters will be sold by themselves for $19.99.

Your point?
At least I'm posting a deal. How many have you posted?
And WhipSmart, how old are you anyway? Because you are so brilliant with all your responses to my posts (idiot).
Just FYI, according to Nintendojo, "Within the first 15 days of August, Pokemon Fire Red and Pokemon Leaf Green have managed to stockpile 150,000 preorders."
