Is it possible to buy sega superstars tennis at Gamestop for $19.99 new, and trade in the copy to goozex so i could get myself 850 points?

I don't see why it wouldn't be. The only thing is, you might have to wait to see if anyone picks up the game first, so it's not instant. Also, the way I see it, the points don't automatically translate to the game of your choice worth 850 points, because there's usually a line for the popular games.

But ultimately, yeah, it's probably worth it. 850 Points is worth ~30 something if you just bought the points separately.

Actually if you buy the points with cash 850 would cost $42.50.

I've done this with plenty of games. However, most of the time I check to make sure someone wants the game and there isn't too much of a line. I don't really like sitting on a game that I'm not sure I can trade.

In your case, there are already 10 people waiting to unload the 360 version, 14 for the Wii version, and 7 for the PS3 version with nobody in the queue to receive it. In that light, you'd most likely have to hang onto the game for awhile before you come up for the trade...and by then it'll likely be worth fewer points due to its low price.

That said, if you think you'd play it until you trade it, go for it. Otherwise, I wouldn't recommend trying it.

You could put it up for trade and if you get a request go buy it and send it off.

I did that with Pro Evo 2008 for the Wii, I put it up, someone requested it, and I got with the 50% off TRU Mario Kart promotion. And it's a 900 point game.

Oops, good call. Didn't feel like doing the math

I actually did this when All Pro 2k8 or whatever had a price drop to $10 or $20, whichever it was.
