Amazon not shipping with proper service

I have amazon prime and I have noticed that for the 3 items I am getting this week they have all been shipped ground and not next day air. While it may take not long for the item to arrive via ground, I just find it strange since I thought prime was always shipped via air.

I am not dissatisfied with them but question the practice. Should I say something can I get a giftcard for the error?

Don't bribe them out of money becuase they're 2 days late. I'd bet it's your fault, but even if it's not, Amazon is great. I've never had a problem.

Well...is it going to get there in a day? No reason for them to send it air if they can get it there in the same time on the ground.
