SEATTLE, Washington (Reuters) -- A black bear was found passed out at a campground in Washington state recently after guzzling down three dozen cans of a local beer, a campground worker said on Wednesday.
"We noticed a bear sleeping on the common lawn and wondered what was going on until we discovered that there were a lot of beer cans lying around," said Lisa Broxson, a worker at the Baker Lake Resort, 80 miles (129 km) northeast of Seattle.
The hard-drinking bear, estimated to be about two years old, broke into campers' coolers and, using his claws and teeth to open the cans, swilled down the suds.
It turns out the bear was a bit of a beer sophisticate. He tried a mass-market Busch beer, but switched to Rainier Beer, a local ale, and stuck with it for his drinking binge.
Wildlife agents chased the bear away, but it returned the next day, said Broxson.
They set a trap using as bait some doughnuts, honey and two cans of Rainier Beer. It worked, and the bear was captured for relocation.

Because its the first time I saw it, and no matter how many replies there are, its still a repost.
No offence to you, im just trying to discourage reposting. Although it would of helped if the mods did their job after the first time somone said it was a repost.

Shit, I think a bear as a drinking buddy would be f ucking awesome, when you run out, you could tell him to go to the store and get more, they aren't gonna try and card him.

really why are (and I too am meaning no offense) reposts such a big deal? I can see if there are 8 reposts or something but if its the second time where is the foul?
First of all, (now i sound like cornfedwb) is it really a big deal? no. But when i come on cag in the morning and look though all the threads i havent read, its one less thread that i should be reading because its been posted already. plus all im trying to do is help out the mods by saying its a repost, but since that hasnt worked on this thread by the time its two pages long, i guess the hell with it.

Yes, too bad...although it would be funny to see a commercial where the Labatt Blue bear wakes up the next morning in bed next to the Rainer Beer bear, with a severe hangover and no recollection of the previous night.
