As a note, i'm asking which you think is the best based on ease of use and cleanliness, let's just presume that they both do an equivicable job of protecting the screen from scratches since as long as there's something covering it, that is not my main priority.

I have the invisishield one on my PSP, and I hate it. It's way too much work to apply, and unless you live in the cleanest house in the world, you will get dust either on the screen or the protector. There is just too much prep work that needs to be done IMO.
I went with the Hori screen protectors for my DS and I am very happy with that one. All I had to do was spray my screen with some Compressed Air to remove all the dust and then quickly apply the screen protector. It went on so much smoother than the Invisishield one and I don't notice any dust under it.

well alot of people do like horis but as you can see it's not the subject of the comparison.
the last time i used the hori i didnt like it so when i tried to take it off it left a sticky surface, so when i attempted to whipe the screen, all hell broke loose.
besides, it's more difficult to get a hold of, plus the variant of english and japanese packagings make it hard to not get the privacy version (which i dont want).
just buy hori protector at a B&M store or a respected site like play asia.

It may have just been that I put it on wrong, but I couldn't stand the invisibleshield for the old PSP. I got it on and it looked great, no bubbles/dust underneath, but it had a strange "sticky" feel to it. Honestly, if they had one that was just the screen, I'd go with that, as it seemed like a solid product. But the strange stickyness was not only odd to hold, but worst of all the joystick would get stuck on the right side on the shield since it was just "that much" thicker. I don't know if the Slim would suffer from this or not, as I don't have one.

as i said once already, hori isnt one of the choices in the OP, if i wanted it to be i would have put it there. Furthermore no one near me sells Hori's, and i already have one experience with them that i was not pleased with. I would go on but hopefulyl this will suffice so people stick to the original post.

I suppose then you are not aware that they do indeed offer one that is just the screen (actually i beleive both links for the products i posted link to the screen only product offering), but i'm not sure what would make it any better, i still wouldnt want it being "sticky".

Ah, I just clicked the link again. The first time, I just saw the pic (of the full system protector). I may actually order just the screen one then (when I got mine, it wasn't offered I don't think). I really can't describe the surface well, but maybe "tacky" would be a good word. The screen wiped clean easily with a damp rag, scratch proof as all hell, but the tackiness of the rest of the protector was a huge turnoff. You're not going to be touching the screen, so if you go with that one, shouldn't be a problem.
I do highly recommend the company though, as (at least when I had mine) they had a satisfaction guarantee. I just told them I wasn't happy with the performance, and got a full refund.
Also, as they advertise, it really does come off clean and can be reapplied (when I decided to return it, I tried it just for the hell of it). No sticky residue at all, and went back on like a champ.

well one thing i noted was that in terms of scratch proof i feel confident that either will do the job.
all i really care about is which one would be more ideal for ease of installation, least residue or mess, and least noticeable. I mean, one thing i did notice is that the javoedge definetly really tlalks up those points whereas the invishield talks more about how you can slam keys at it and it wont be scratched, which i'm hot really worried about as long as something is covering the screen.
