Cheapy,

Awsome - but you're only halfway there. There's another story each that they both adapted. One where they both played the lead role.

No, my point was that Swayze has nothing to do with this topic. Look at the first post, it's Patrick Stewart, not Swayze.

Think Shakespeare. We already know they were both Claudius in Hamlet adaptations. There is another one each. so...

Shakespeare adaptaion.

Lead Role ....

Remember, full answer requires all titles.

Mifune played Taketori Washizu, who was based on Macbeth, and King of Texas was based on King Lear, and Stewart lpayed the lead. That's the best I've got.

Yeah, King of Texas was King Lear, not Macbeth.

edit - However, Warui yatsu hodo yoku nemeru starred Mifune as an adaption of Hamlet, and in Kumonosu jo (his adaptation of Macbeth.

Patrick Stewart was in Hamlet, Prince of Denmark and in Antony and Cleopatra. But Stewart was never in a Macbeth movie or adaptation.

Exactly what I was looking for!

Both played lead roles in Shakespeare adaptations. As you said, Stewart in King Lear (or King of Texas) and Mifune in Macbeth (Throne of Blood) ....

I realize now that it sounded like I was looking for one film, not one film each. I'll make sure not to be that ambiguous in the next free game contest.

Anyway - pm me an address, and RE: Dead Aim will go out with Saturday's mail.

Congrats Cleaver - you win.
