I use webwasher, just do a google or ask.com search for it, but then on the other hand my computer is fucked by cws at the moment, although I didn't have webwasher dl'd when I got it... I'll stop, before I confuse you more.

Or use a better browser than Internet Exploder, I suggest Mozilla, Mozilla Firefox, or Opera for PC, and Safari for Mac... All of which block popups by default and tend to load pages faster.

True dat! I have a Mac for my personal computer, so pop-ups are not a problem with Safari's built in pop-up blocker. For my home computer, I use IE, but I also use endpopups.com, which seems to work well.

I just wanted to know what the general concensus is for great pop-up blockers since a guy at work was asking me about it the other day.

As mentioned by Big Nick, popup blocking is now part of IE on XP with SP2 installed.

Short of that, I find the Google toolbar extremely useful, so the inclusion of popup blocking in that is just icing on the cake.

The Google toolbar has a decent pop-up blocker. I'm using it right now.

What do you mean "IR" popups?

If you mean Messenger (*NOT* MSN Messenger, just messages with "OK" buttons) because you are connected directly to the net without a firewall, reformat your computer, get a firewall, reinstall.
