Hey guys. Any one know of any great cheapass books stores for some college books? My colleges book store is a joke kinda like the ebgames of book stores! :-) Used books for two dollars off of new. Yeah right. Books are so expensive and half tthe time I don't even use them! One books is 155.00!
Any one know where you can get some good books for cheap?
Where is the best place to resell these crap books after you have taken the class?
Thanks! Help spread the cheapass ways to a broke college kid!

You can get 25% off book pruchases on ebay with the new Paypal coupon. That is if it's your first time buying books on ebay and you feel like dealing with ebay.

I haven't looked around there in a while, but at one point they did have cheap(er) college textbooks.

I trying ebay right now. Don't think i'll win it though. Its more like a future place to buy from so I wouldn't have to wait for bidding then shipping. I was mostly liking for newer type books not the ones that are wrote on and falling apart like ebays. But thank you.

www.half.com and www.amazon.com usually have good deals on their textbooks about this time of year. I've sold many of my books back on half.com also.

Amazon wants a 138 for new thats two bucks cheaper then my book store! Then you gotta pay for shipping too. Come on why in the hell is a 9th edition book this expensive? They didn't make enough from the first 8 years of the book. I think im going to make textbooks for a living! Every year you can just change the order of the chapters and get the same for it! Kinda like Madden!

I've used www.collegebooksdirect.com. They have a decent inventory of used books and they ship orders out pretty fast. I go back to school next Wednesday so I couldn't mess around with sites such as half.com or amazon (to many people I know ordered from there and got the wrong book or the wrong version from what they ordered).
My book total for this semester was well over $600.

while that site is real good... its technically illegeal since your are buying books printed in different regions,, and regions have their own prices set to be sold for that price in that area. I know many people that buy thier books from there and its a lot cheaper,, and i haven't heard of a single case were anybody got into trouble. I don't think there are any actual disclaimers,, so i don't really think its wrong...

www.addall.com

Nice.
