I was at the local GS and I saw an advertisment, stating that you get a free Clank figure with pre-order. I should have taken a pic with my phone but I was in a rush...sorry.

This is going to get preordered so fucking fast by me for that figure, depending on quality.
Quality figure + great game, I'm definitely in... usually it's awesome preorder bonuses for mediocre games.

I was listening to the 1up Yours podcast and one of them really hated this game. He said it's mainly a bunch of stealth missions with a really bad camera. You also get to play as Ratchet for some action sequences but those are few and far between.

While a guy at MTV Multiplayer (and please none of you start with trying to diss that site. It's a very good gaming blog/journalism site) sort of disagreed with his sentiments but there is an embargo atm so he couldn't go into detail.

Quality = Same as a happy meal toy.

*sigh* The figure is cool but the demo was beyond lame. Ratchet & Clank really started to lose their appeal after the phenomenal Up Your Arsenal. Tools of Destruction wasn't even that great, aside from looking really good, the gameplay and story were very lackluster.

More like a Sad Meal toy. The paint on it is pretty sloppy. The preorder for that PSP R-Type game was much cooler.

I'll... pass. I see the R9A for R-Type Command on EBay so I'll just keep an eye out for this. I don't want to spend $40 bucks, even after the demo. If it were $30 then I'd bite.
