I currently have a P4 3.0 w/ 1 gig of ram.

Another gig of ram would be very nice, but otherwise, yes.

nice HDD, 250GB at 7200 rpm. that's very important for mmo's.

It's not too bad at all for very basic computing needs. I'd definitely recommend another gig or two of RAM especially since it's Vista.

As far as gaming goes, you'd probably want a dedicated video card, integrated probably won't get the job done on its own.
